While the town is quieter during the winter months it’s gives us a chance to step back a bit from the retail and selling side of the business.

During this time we focus on designing new pieces, collecting raw material, and building up stock ready for the up and coming season.

We have been very busy in the workshop over the last few weeks cutting some of our best quality Whitby jet and Kingman turquoise.

As spring approaches we are looking foward to seeing all our regular customers and also new visitors to the town. 😀

These pieces of Whitby jet were picked up this evening on Tate hill Sands less that 1/2 mile from our Church street shop.

Although they are only small, most pieces were grade A Jewellery quality.

They were picked up amongst the sea coal and sea w**d that has been washed over the East pier during the recent North easterly storm.

These stunning new pieces have just been finished and are now available in our Church street shop.

All the turquoise pieces have been made using high grade kingman turquoise and each piece has a unique colour and pattern.

The Whitby jet pieces are also made in our Whitby workshop using grade A, locally collected hard Whitby Jet.
