I love making custom cat earrings. People send me pictures of their cats! And then I get to paint them! And they're always so sweet and have cute names! These ones were a delight. As you can see, I can make long-haired cats too. What a sweet pair. I think I got the markings spot on! 🐈 🐾💕

I have to post something so I'm a little bit consistent on the socials, but I'm actually a bit buried in orders! Things started picking up at the end of May, and it's been pretty consistent since then. Since I'm trying to build up stock for craft fair season, it means I've been putting in some long hours! I'd never complain though, I'm having fun. Have any other small businesses noticed things getting busier?

Also, did you know the name Boudica lives on in Welsh as Buddug (pronounced "bithig")? There's an amazing Cymraeg singer called Buddug and I love her music. Check her out!

Someone asked me to make them my blue dragon figurine on the woodland style books with moss and mushroom instead of the usual lavender dragon. It looks lovely! I might have to make this available as a standard option. I love how the colours work together! 🩵 🩷 💚 💜 Is that paint all over my fingers? Yes. 🤌🏻

My cat Luna's best cat friend (who looks just like these earrings) is a d***y, shy ginger named Sid. Luna 'tolerates' his presence (he rolls around near her and she doesn't hiss – this is a huge show of affection for her). He's infatuated, she allows the infatuation! But he's very afraid of people, so hopefully he learns I'm safe and give good pets (or just respectful distant praise like Luna prefers)!

The process of using soft pastels on my rainbow dragons! 🎨 I started this at 9:30 this morning and just finished at 3:00. It takes forever but looks beautiful! And now they're in the oven, so time for a snack and then I'll get to painting! Hopefully most of them will be in the post box tonight. 📮

I finally replaced my Etsy shop's profile picture with something more flattering!! The last one cut off my head whenever I shared the link on Threads, AND you can't see the necklace I swear I'm modelling. Am I confident this one will be centred nicely? No. But it has to be better than (swipe)!
