The oldest emeralds date back almost three billion years. However, they were first mined in Egypt around 1500BC.
Unlike diamonds, where clarity plays a significant role in valuing a stone, inclusions are to be expected in emeralds. Indeed, they can be found in 99% of natural emeralds so if you find a stone without, chances are it's synthetic or treated in modern days.

The vintage Rolex GMT-Master 16753 is a special two-toned variant of the Rolex GMT-Master 16750. Ref 16753 offers a mix of stainless steel and yellow gold. However, the watch's dial and bezel are what really draw the eye.

This Rolex GMT Master 16753 steel & 18ct with a new old stock Jubilee bracelet fitted, also featuring the original "ni**le" black dial. Plexy glass is in great condition, this watch is a 1985. Comes boxed - no original papers, but does have recent invoices.
