A little update regarding the shop ❤️

The shop will be closed for the next two weeks while we pack and prepare for our move.

This is because Jan and I are separating/divorcing and will be moving into separate homes. We know this may come as a surprise, and we appreciate your understanding and kindness during what is a difficult and busy time for us both.

The shop will, however, continue to operate as normal, with both Jan and I continuing in our usual roles once we reopen.

There may be a few additional closing days before the end of October, but I will post here as usual to forewarn everyone whenever possible.

Once again, I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. 🙏🏼 If you need to leave a message, I will continue to monitor the mobile and emails, and one of us will reply if we're able to over the next couple of weeks, or as soon as possible once the shop reopens on October 6th.

The shop will also be closed from the 19th of September until and including the 5th of October. We will open again on the 6th of October. Once again, many apologies for any inconvenience caused 😏

Coming right up to date now, this commission was inspired by the Art Deco era and was made using the customer's own stones. Starting with an initial sketch, the design was then formed by CAD, cast, set, and finished by hand. The model is AI of course!

Throwback Thursday! In this case, back to the time when I was just starting on my jewellery making career. This is one of the first things I made commercially and sold to one of my first customers. Pre- mobile phones, pre-internet and photographed with a film camera.
I thought it would be fun, using a bit of up to date trickery, to make it fly ☺️

*UPDATE* As the shop has no air conditioning and has already heated up from yesterday, I feel it's sensible to close temporarily on the 24th, 25th *and now Friday 26th*, not only for us, but for the poor dogs too! Hopefully, it will be open again as usual on *Saturday*.
