Pink day!
Bullying is a growing problem in the world today, and every year we hear more and more incidents coming up of bullying in schools everywhere.
Bullying exists outside of schools and according to yougov poll(for the TUC), 29% of people have been victims of workplace bullying. That’s nearly 3 in every 10 workers!
Pink day is dedicated to beating the bullies and breaking the cycle that creates and perpetuates this damaging behaviour.

It’s random acts of kindness day! Did you know the random acts of kindness foundation (RAK) was founded in 1995 in the US. It’s is a nonprofit headquartered in Denver, Colorado.

Ideas on how to take part:
-Pay for the person behind you in the drive-thru
-let someone go ahead of you in line
-Buy flowers for someone
-Buy extra at the shops and donate it to a food bank
-Compliment a colleague on their work
-Take muffins to work!
-Pay for the bus ticket for the person behind you!

It’s shrove Tuesday! Fluffy with maple syrup or English style lemon and sugar? Traditionally pancakes were eaten on shrove Tuesday because eggs, sugar and fats needed to be used up before the Lenten fast(things that were commonly forbidden during lent). So have pancakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner! I know I will!
