We are delighted that the Birmingham Open Studios app has been updated for 2026.
The app is now the best way to navigate the event.

This app is freely available for Android and Apple devices. It includes the following features:

Realise I don't remember to post on here - but I have been doing some textile work recently. Working towards the WSD National Exhibition in September - I've made an ecoprinted waistcoat for the juried section (sent off today) and also done a bunting "flag" for the general exhibition.

To banish those January blues (yes we know we're not there yet!), make sure you come along to the Preview Evening for the RBSA Friends Exhibition 2026 on Thursday 8 January.

Running until Saturday 7 February, the show will feature the work of over 100 artists who are all part of the RBSA Friends scheme and at various points of their artistic careers.

As always, there will be a fully illustrated catalogue available to purchase and all of the work on display will be for sale.
