Jewels at EarthHeart Jewels is a teacher & facilitator with over 25 years experience working with people to make profound shifts in their lives. Nature became my religion.

I have deeply loved nature from as far back as I can remember, even as a very young child. As a child nature would speak to me and I would enjoy speaking back and listening for answers to questions I had. I experienced nature as the body of ‘God’, as divinity itself somehow. It always brought me back to this, especially during the darker times of my life. It kept reminding me in such a simple yet powerful way, of the sacredness of all life and about my place in the interconnected web of life. I experience it as a profound teacher of Love within an Earth-based spirituality that makes sense to my body, heart and soul. It showed me the truth about relating and about the need for respect and balance between the feminine and masculine in all things. How every element in nature is aware of all that is around it and how all elements are all giving and receiving from each other. When I left home all I wanted was to live close to the land and in community. I have spent as much of my life as possible doing this. From as early back as my mid-teens I started to listen to the wisdom within the natural world around me and received such profound support I began to listen more. I also was being guided by a circle of ancient beings who showed themselves to me and I call my ‘council’. They encouraged me to listen deeply and to trust what I heard and what was being asked of me. I found myself creating temporary sacred spaces wherever I went, for people to gather and share in. I held a vision that one day I would be the guardian of a piece of land that meant that this sacred space could grow ever deeper roots. A place that people could come to and experience nature as our teacher, an opener of our human hearts and a re-membering of our sacred interconnectedness. A place to slow down enough to be able to hear the heartbeat of the earth and the wisdom she brings, to commune in her wildness, to sit with her stillness and be in her awe-inspiring relentless beauty. A place to bring consciousness to human fragile hearts and to heal our relationships between the masculine and the feminine in humanity. To discover such connection in ourselves through this that the natural outcome is to want to honour all life as sacred and to live from a balanced place within so that our lives grow in the service of Love for the collective evolution of all humanity.

“…this place showed itself to me, I listened, and here I am…”

Neurodiversity and 'normal'

Normal is a relative and relational thing. It cannot exist in a vacuum, it is comparative way of describing things in relation to each other. So who decides what is normal ?

If I put some moss in a desert and asked it to be it's full authentic self could it achieve it ? I think it would find it pretty difficult. But if I put that same moss in a damp english forest could it achieve it, it certainly would find it a lot easier.

If we saw a piece of moss in an english woodland would we say "oh, look at that moss there, thats really weird, it doesn't look normal at all and it's not behaving like moss " no we wouldn't, because it's in it's optimum environment and so it's thriving and living it's best authentic mossy life. It would seem to us the the moss is 'normal' no malfunction at all and normal for it to be there behaving as moss does.

If we saw that same Moss in a desert all shriveled up and dying what society says is "well that moss is not normal and so therefore it should change it's ways and learn to adapt better to the desert, that moss is a problem indeed and not normal, it should just try to be more cactus like, it would do much better if it was a cactus"

We need to be making environments that suit the full range of our species. The moss is not the issue. Normal is relative, only because everyone agrees to agree on the definition of normal does it become it. It's the context that is the issue. It's the society and structures and rules of behaviour that is the problem and I am passionate to change this. Put me in my optimum social environment I would also seem 'normal'.

I'm passionate in supporting (what we are currently calling) neurodivergent people to live their full and authentic life in an unapologetic way and attuned to the environment and society and community's we live it. If you would value a space to explore this with other fabulous neurodivergent humans the course begins of 26th November until Spring 2027...a small circle and we are going deep...and high...and...real...

Neurodivergent people
THE LATEST VERSION OF A WITCH HUNT ?

I am what they label AuDHD, I'm not into labels but for the purposes of stepping stones at this time to be able to know what subject we are speaking about they seem useful. I want to speak truthfully about what I feel and think about the whole subject....
I believe that neurodivergent people are only a ‘problem’ when modern society insist that we live and function inside specific (and quite limited) ways and these ways are not designed for the neurodivergent soul. Our modern societies have stripped out diversity from the human species, just like we have done with nature: 'anything that does not fit the aspirations of success in a Capital growth society must either be killed or made to adapt to be allowed to stay'.

So how would it change things if we stopped making neurodivergent people the problem and instead start recognising that it’s modern life and the societal structures that are the real source of the problem ? If I look at all my neurodivergent traits, they only become challenging/problematic for me when I try to fit into a neuotypicaly societal structure set up. They are not a problem in and of themselves - they only become a problem when I try to function and relate inside a structure that was not designed for me.

For our deep time ancestors, neurodivergent people where the seers, the mystics, poets, healers, artists, shamans, psychics, and the truth speakers. Now we are the f**k-up’s that need to be medicated, pathologized, shamed, marginalised and told to change our ways and just try harder.

Not everyone was meant to be able to do everything ! that's a modern artificial construct that support consumerism and control of the workers. Back with our deep time ancestors, interdependence was how we survived and thrived and no-one lived in isolation in hyper independence. If one person was a Seer but struggled to chop their wood - not a problem - we need the Seer in the community and the person who's amazing at chopping wood is also loving their life !! Everyone is happy and everyone belongs. I believe with a passion that every neurodivergent person has a gift to bring to the world and one that is needed in order to returning us to a truly diverse life with all that is. But when we live inside a society that aspires to everyone being able to do everything and only certain gifts being valued it can be very difficult as a neurodivergent person to find a place in it all.

I believe that if each of us was existing within our optimum environment, one that supports us to really thrive we would soon find our gifts and thrive in bringing them. If you put an oak tree in the Sahara desert it won’t survive anymore than in you put a cactus in a welsh forest. It’s like we are saying that because the oak tree can’t survive in the desert it’s the tree that is the problem. It's ridiculous and we know it. We would never expect an Oak tree to survive in a desert and would not force it to try. Yet when it comes to neurodivergent souls we seem to not quite of grasped this.

I also believe that Neurodivergent people are having a response to modern life that is actually more natural and right, as in we are not meant to be living in a society where our senses are so bombarded. We are not meant to be around hundreds of humans everyday. We are not meant to live under artificial light 24 hours of the time. We are not meant to sit for 8 hours in a day looking at a 2d screen. We are not meant to eat ultra processed food. We are not meant to be able to do everything ourselves, and so the list goes on. It's an intelligent response that refuses to adapt to the insanity of our modern world. I for one think we need to listen to these intelligent responses and celebrate them and change the way we all live on our beautiful Earth.
We need to start naming all the positives of being neurodivergent of which there is a vast array. Most of them sit inside the qualities associated with the witches and the healers and the creatives and things modern cultures do not value, so it's obvious why we don't. THIS is what needs to change.

I am starting a revolution that recognises that it’s modern society that needs to change, not neurodivergent people. So rather than supporting neurodivergent people to adapt better to this broken society, let’s instead support them to be who they are and bring their gifts because their gifts are really needed at this time on earth. However uncomfortable that truth is - it is the truth I believe.

If this speaks to you and you would value a place to bring your magnificent self, or at least have a safe space to try..link in first comments - I'm running an over winter course starting 27th November xx

PS if you zing with what I'm saying please comment or like it as it helps me to know if what I'm saying resonates 💛

🍂 As I turn inwards on the land here at EarthHeart during the turn of the Celtic Wheel into the Autumn Equinox, the EarthLodge calls me, the fire, the dark, the sheepskins, the ancestors, the inner light, and to be honest I love it as much as the summer. I’ve been dreaming in some prayers in the form of ceremonies, workshops and events to share with you all.

One is to tend to our grief which I feel is so deeply needed at this time and it is my absolute delight to support grief work and the EarthLodge holds it so well.. In the great tradition of this land, I welcome you to join me for the Gathering the Bones Grief Ceremony. This is for those who want support to spiral deep into their hearts, into the places that sit in the shadow and need the light of love on them, come and sit with me and lets journey home to our true selves..💚

The next one is on the 9 - 10 October 2026. Check out my website for ALL the details : LINK IN COMMENTS 🔥

Discovering I'm AuDHD was a massive life moment 8 years ago. it happened when a dear friend came round and sat on my sofa while we drank tea and very gently suggested that I might have adhd. I spat feathers and laughed at the notion...how dare they say that....while being aware that they where self declared autistic...but no.. not me…??

He very gently and skillfully said to me, ”well... just for fun, let's do the online quiz" so I did and for the next 30 miunutes I sat sobbing, not just tears rolling down my face but deep sobs... like suddenly I felt seen and understood in a way that no therapy had ever quite managed to reach. This led me on a journey to find out more.... and I have been on that journey ever since.

What an incredible ride it has been. I feel like I have finally come home to myself and am living the most authentic version of me I have managed to date. The process of awareness and getting to know all the various ways it lives in me has made it possible to reclaim lost parts of myself and change some very deep rooted patterns that caused me much distress.

One of the most powerful aspects of this journey has been to connect deeply with other women like me and be able to talk about it, share deeply and learn more and more through shared experience. Realising that some of what I have needed to become whole is different to Neurotypical women.

I so passionately want other Neurodivergent women to experience this as it has changed my life so deeply. This is why I created Cauldron of Illuminations which is a course - in person - (not online) here at EarthHeart (Forest of Dean) starting in October 2026 and running through winter till spring. A circle just for ND women - please come and join… link in the comments

Menopause is so often misunderstood as an ending.. but what if it’s actually a profound rite of passage? Instead of viewing this life stage as a decline, there is a powerful perspective suggesting it’s an alchemical shift !! A gateway into awakened spiritual power....

By mapping the seasons of life... spring, summer, autumn, and winter onto the monthly cycle, a powerful parallel emerges: the menopause years mirror the pre-menstrual phase on a massive scale.

It’s a rite of passage, an extended season of awakening that invites women to reclaim their inner authority and step into a new, more potent stage of existence.

Moving past the biological narrative, this is an invitation to view this transition as a profound elevation of consciousness.

Welcome Autumn Queen... ❤️‍🔥🙏

07/09/2026

Society often teaches women to cling to their youth, idolising the maiden and mother archetypes while fearing the transition beyond !!

This perspective flips the script, challenging the patriarchal pressure to chase impossible beauty standards long after our childbearing years...

Instead of viewing menopause as a loss of relevance, this is a profound invitation to step into a new kind of authority. It’s a shift from the performative outside to a deeply embodied, radiant power that emanates from within. As that external focus fades, a spiritual, feminine magnetism takes its place... one that isn't about domination or aesthetics, but about living with the kind of wisdom that simply radiates from the pores.

It’s time to stop shrinking to fit the mirror and start walking in the power that only comes with time.

30/08/2026

The fear of abandonment runs deep, often causing the feminine to uproot herself just to stay connected to something—anything—rather than face the pain of being alone. This cycle of overriding one's true desires, staying in unfulfilling dynamics, and bending to the will of the patriarch is exhausting, but it’s not the end of the story.

True transformation begins when we stop choosing better than nothing and start doing the essential work of reclaiming our own power. By understanding the deep, spiritual nature of Eros—not just as romance, but as a force for global change—women can move from a place of wounding to a place of profound awakening. This is the hidden, powerful purpose behind life transitions like menopause, which calls for healing the parts of ourselves that we’ve ignored for too long. It’s time to stop overriding, start rooting back into the ground, and step into an authentic, sovereign power that inspires everyone it touches.

Menopause is often misunderstood... but what if it’s actually a profound spiritual rite of passage? 🌀

I've always viewed Menopause more through a spiritual lens... I think from this perspective, it reframes the experience as a powerful transition into a deeper, more expansive feminine energy. By looking back to our deep-time ancestors, it becomes clear that all life follows a sacred wheel cycles of the sun, the moon, and the seasons that are intimately mirrored within the human experience !

When we remember that we aren't separate from nature, but rather a direct reflection of it, the biological shifts we undergo begin to make sacred sense..!!
