For many years I have been creating very special and unique gifts for friends and family and now I have a family of my own I have decided to try and put my talents to a more financially rewarding use! Everything here is handcrafted by myself and some of the items are one of a kind creations, made from my own designs... please take some time to browse through all of my photo albums, you never know what you might find and new items are being added all the time. Most items in my albums can be re-created for you so if you see something you like that is not for sale, please feel free to contact me for details of colours available, sizes etc, or even if you have your own ideas you would like me to consider... I enjoy new crafty challenges... inspire me! With a personal interest in Vintage items - particularly of the WWII era - I enjoy making accessories using original crochet patterns from the period. It is important to me to re-create these as accurately as possible so I always spend the time sourcing materials that would have been used at the time the pattern was produced... perfect for re-enactors and living history enthusiasts! It is always an honour to make a special welcome gift for a brand new baby - a blanket, hat & booties or even a complete layette set, maybe a favourite animal toy as they get older. I also enjoy creating with paper to make personalised greetings cards, with beads to make jewellery, charms and accessories and have even maade items using pins and sequins... I haven't yet found a craft I don't like!

Look at this gorgeous colour selection about to hop onto my hook.
Photo's do not capture the true beauty of the turquoise and I can't wait to turn this into a beautiful gift for my client.

Happy Grinchmas! 💚
I know I have been incredibly quiet on here for quite a while now... things have had to take a slightly different direction in terms of my crochet sell-ables (more on that another time though!) but I have some ideas to bring you in the new year... I just need to find a bit of time to get things sorted!
I will have a couple of things to share in the meantime though as I'm making a few gifts for Christmas 💚
PS - This guy lives on my desk all year round, I just don't have the heart to put him away!!!

I missed posting this yesterday on 🤦🏼‍♀️ !!
I shared this project in progress ages ago but by the time it was finished it got too warm to wear it and share it!
Anyhoo, it's done and so cosy, ready for the autumn weather to kick in and I love the oversized fit of this pattern which is beautifully written.

It has been so long since I've shared any work on social media... there's a few reasons for that but I haven't stopped being busy!
I've missed it here though and thought I'd return with the progress on a jumper I'm making myself. This teal colour is so pretty and the slightly fluffy yarn is so yummy... I just hope I manage to get it finished before the weather gets too warm to wear it 😂

Here's the finished pendant I shared the teasers of last week.
I was commissioned to wrap this pretty Red Jasper in hand woven silver plated wire.

Red Jasper is linked to earthly energies making it very grounding.
It has a stabilising energy which helps bring balance. It also stimulates your creative abilities to enable you to turn your ideas into action and helps you to see your projects through to the end. It can be slow but it is effective.
Red Jasper is associated with the Root Chakra and the Earth Element.

Here's a little Work In Progress that's just for me... it's supposed to be for the weekends when I'm "not at work" but that's not really working out very well as I've been working this afternoon preparing to start my next commission and editing the finished photos of the wirework I teased the other day!!! 🙊

It's been a while since I've shared a cryptic pic, but I do love playing around with my macro lens and wirework pieces.
To be honest it's also been a while since I've created any new jewellery so it was reassuring to still see my consistency with the wire wraps... this piece is almost finished so I'm excited (and nervous!) to see how it turns out.

🌵 House Plant Appreciation Day/Week 🪴
This week is to remind us of one of those jobs that is easy to neglect over a busy holiday period - our house plants!
And let's face it they can usually do with some extra TLC at this time of year... couldn't we all eh?!
So, check on your little leafy friends and, if you're not so green fingered, maybe you could consider one of my everlasting crochet varieties 😘
