It’s with a very heavy heart, that we have to announce The Silver Sheep is shutting shop. We will still be keeping the website live and fully stocked, but sadly will be saying goodbye to our beloved spot on Chapel Place.

Starting from weekend art markets, Sylvia with her exquisite knits and Caroline her magical jewellery, all the way through to the beautiful community that has grown into The Silver Sheep - the last decade has been phenomenal. It has been an honour to be a part of your daily, or weekly, or yearly life events. Celebrating local creatives and artists. Filling your kitchen with fresh bread, stocking your wardrobes with eclectic clothing and supplying your loved ones with cards to cherish. You being here has made our world go round, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the friendships we have formed and stories we’ve shared.

As many of you know, the way our world is currently, small business is tricky at the best of times and after a lot of thinking, adapting and pushing - we feel the best next step, is to continue as a solely online presence.

Now, and always, we want to promote and celebrate the importance of shopping small, shopping locally and intentionally. Every card, every felted mouse, every pastry means the world - spending your hard earned money in spaces that truly feel and adore your support, is really cool.

Before we say farewell, we have lots of hefty discounts in-store over the next month or so - 30% off all clothing and 40% off Eribe knits. So pop in, and treat yourself to some of your favourite Sheep classics!

We will miss our over the counter natters so deeply, but look forward to growing further on here with you all!
