WELL - I did not think this one was going to work out....

I put my little diamond setting too close to the big one and when your soldering collets together its important that the collets do not touch too closely or the the gap between them flood with solder because you then loose the edge of the collet to fold over the diamond to set it securely - if you can follow what I mean?

I am not a professional stone setter, it takes a lot of skill and years of training which sadly I cannot do whilst also being a mum of 3 with limited time to myself.

BUT - i was so happy that I actually managed to set them all securely and happily.

I might need help naming this beauty....

This week has been hilarious.

You all know I am both autistic and ADHD, but let me give you the run down on weeks where my ADHD is at its finest.....

This week (based on my chat history with chatgpt) my hyperfixations have been -

Making chocolate completely from scratch
Making a peacock-blue velvet jewellery display cabinet with LED lights.....
Making Landscape pendants
Making W**e from my homegrown grapes
Landscape Painting with Oil Paint
Live DHL driver surveillance 😂
Ganache cake logistics.

That is ONE weeks worth of what happens when my ADHD is particularly bad, the autism part of me means that unlike adhd I have to actually finish what I start because otherwise I don't have things in order which my autism cant cope with....

On another note, My youngest sister Ellie and her partner Bob got married this week! and guess who had the pleasure of making their wedding bands? ☺🎁

AND! Just look how my very first bean to bar chocolate has turned out! I made this pomegranate white chocolate from scratch - it took 24 hours in total to refine enough that it was silky smooth.
