Following in a family line of jewellery makers, Alex Osborne set up Osborne’s in 2008 when he was 24 years old. Starting his own business as a bespoke jeweller was Alex’s aim once he was fully qualified from studying Jewellery and Silversmithing at Birmingham City University’s School of Jewellery. He also nurtured his talent through working for the family business whilst training on the job as a r

epairer. Traditional methods fused with modern creativity define Alex’s style as he strives to produce high quality pieces that are truly original. Working in a close partnership with each client and listening to their personal needs drives Alex to create individually styled jewellery perfection. Special occasions like a wedding or an anniversary are one-off moments that deserve to be marked by one-off jewellery. This is the philosophy that spurs Northampton based bespoke jewellery designer Alex Osborne to achieve something very special for each and every client. Using an array of precious metals and gemstones, Alex specialises in creating fine handmade individual jewellery including engagement rings, wedding and eternity bands. Alex’s individual approach is carried through each client journey – from concept to the finished article – as he explores your ideas and aspirations. Once a budget is established he then applies his extensive knowledge of design, jewellery making and creativity to bring your vision to life. A perfect blend of old & new.
Jane’s goal was to give her long-time engagement ring a unique and contemporary twist without losing its original charm.
So, we designed a new piece, incorporating her original diamond and gold, and adding a new diamond, extra gold, and a touch of magic (Alex the Goldsmith!🤭)... and voilà! A beautiful refreshed Toi et Moi engagement ring that complements her original wedding band perfectly.

A new piece that's a little out of the ordinary. We're thrilled to have completed this acorn pendant recently.

While we're accustomed to working with valuable stones, this project was special – a 30-year-old acorn with huge sentimental value.

We took our customer's cherished acorn necklace and sentimental stones & gold, preserving the original piece while designing and reworking the gold and setting the stones into the metal pendant.
