Here is a beautiful regency style fire surround Martin made from scratch last summer.
The client wanted a small and sleek fire surround for their office and couldn't find what they wanted anywhere until they stumbled upon us.

I had an enquiry of a sentimental piece which as you can see, fell at the final hurdle. Fortunately with a bit of glue and patience, I was able to help it get back on it's feet.
If you've got a broken marble, soapstone or stone item and think, surely that's too far gone. Well give me a message or call and I'll see what I can do! Most items are repairable if you've got all the broken bits and pieces

Antique fire surround cleaned and restored and installed in place of this wooden surround.
I also cut out and replaced the tiled hearth for a traditional slate hearth.

A beautiful Tinos marble pedestal made for a sculpture in London.
Made from scratch from an antique block of Tinos marble turned by hand here in our Devon workshop.

We were asked to restore, install and then replace a stretcher of white marble which had been severely fire stained and damaged in a fire surround after nearly 200 years of usage and a large chimney fire.
We also did a full restoration on this fireplace including repairing the mantel piece and a deep clean of the legs including a new matching Carrara marble hearth.
Restoring this antique fireplace surround to its new found glory.

A client called us up to discuss a broken marble top which held a great deal of sentimental value and wondered if it could be repaired.
With great delight she was amazed at the thought that we could.
I went and collected it, had a lovely chat with her about the process and kept her updated with the progress. Fair to say she was truly amazed with the outcome and at what we can do!

We were given this damaged fire surround to restore and install, we have restored each indiviual piece, glued them back together and altered the marble to suit a log burner, and then installed the fire surround in Totnes, Devon.

This has become a truly lovely marble fireplace which pleasure and provide a traditional focal point for the room. A happy client just intime for the festive season.

A Beutiful Pietra Dura table restoration project.

Client presented us with a broken marble table top in desperate need of repair. The table has been in their family for 50+ years and we wanted to give the table a new lease of life with a near perfect repair.
