Gongcrafts A small Scottish business in the North Highlands, specialising in hand-spun, hand-dyed knitting yarn

Laurence and Clive hand make a number of beautifully crafted items from their home on a croft in Skerray, Sutherland. All things wool is their biggest passion; from their much in demand handspun "designer art yarns" to their hand dyed botanical knitting yarns using as much local plant material as they can find and grow, together with some exotic plant material obtained from sustainable foreign sou

rces. They also spin yarn from rare breeds of sheep which have subtle and evocative shades. Laurence is a textile artist and produces fashion items and artefacts from their wool. Prestige handmade candles scented with essential oils and macrame pendants embracing semi precious stones and fossils are two other quality items produced by this enterprising couple.

The festival is on all weekend at the Social Club and the West Church Hall.
