Next weekend i am back on my boat and trading on the canal again. After a long summer of festivals, I am so looking forward to boat life again. I'll be at the Whitchurch Canal Festival trading from my boat EMILY.

I thought this year’s main events were over!

I’d headed back to the boat, put my feet up and started working my way through the never-ending to-do list, website improvements, boat jobs and getting organised for next year.

Then, at 8.30pm last night… 📞🌙
My favourite event, Shrewsbury Folk Festival, called to say someone had cancelled and they had a space for me!

So, surprise! 🎉 I’m back on the road and you can now find me at Shrewsbury Folk Festival 2026 for the next four days!

Green Gathering a few weekends ago 🌿☀️

Hot and very, very dry. 😮‍💨

This summer feels like climate change giving us a little pre-warning of what we might one day call a “less dramatic” summer…

But despite the heat, I had such a lovely time. In fact, this was probably one of my favourite Green Gatherings yet. 💚

Beautiful people, beautiful surroundings, and plenty of sunshine. Just perhaps a little too much of it! ☀️

The best view I've ever had while doing a tax return. 🌿⛰️

Not exactly how I'd planned to spend a day in Exeter, but deadlines don't always care where you are! I was parked up at a campsite with the most incredible views over the city, working my way through my tax return instead of exploring.

Thankfully, once the paperwork was finally out of the way, I got to head out in the evening and enjoy the city and some food. Sometimes running a small business means swapping adventures for admin Thankfully i have my van so I can make this happen  .

Last weekend was a busy one! ✨ Thanks to everyone who stopped by at , my display was looking a little empty afterwards... so it's been a very productive week on the boat getting everything restocked.

A little gap between summer festivals means... the boat shop is popping open! ☀️⚓

I'll be open 22nd–23rd July for a mini pop-up. I'll only have a small selection out, as most of my stock is already packed away in festival boxes, but it's the perfect chance to come and have a browse before I'm off again.
