One of my all time favourite artists ever. Jeff de Boer Sculpture’s attention to detail and historical reference just blows my mind and as you might expect, mouse armour definitely meets with my approval 😻

Please check his page out and prepare to be astounded at the artistry, the process, the jig and tool making.

Such an achievement - I hope we get to see more of Jeff’s work displayed in museums worldwide.

Finished off these 2 today and started work on 47 other projects, as I do… If you look closely you can see the bunny has started nibbling on his giant carrot.

It was suggested that maybe I should round off his ears as they’re pretty sharp and pointy, but as we all know, rabbits are dangerous wee beasties with a violent streak a mile wide.

The original plan was to make this an adjustable size ring, but I didn’t rate its structural integrity, so I’ve soldered it closed. It’s a size N.

The lion ring is reserved and is currently a size V/W but may be resized if they decide they want it.

Thank you everyone! I overdid it and had to spend the entire day and night in bed yesterday, but it’s totally worth it to see a result like this 😻

Today’s the day! Get on down to Sun Pier House in Chatham for the latest instalment in the Broken Heart Bazaar story.

3 floors packed with some of the best independent makers and artists from near and far.

Sadly the lift has broken down and despite the venue’s best efforts, they’ve been unable to fix it in time. The ground floor is level access, so you’ll be able to get in there, but unfortunately the other 2 floors will only be accessible via stairs.

Meanwhile, please hold a moment’s reflection on the less than serendipitous fate of Serendipity the Scorpion who had an unfortunate interface between my shoe and the floor.

I have the technology and will see if I can bring her back to life again… but it’s not a job to be rushed, so she won’t join me on the stall today 🤦‍♀️

Told you this was a week for good news! Those wonderful folk at Atru, they say yes!

Managed to slide in at the 11th hour for the last ever Woking Alternative Market to be held at the Fiery Bird. I’m sure we’ll be back… elsewhere…

All this exciting stuff is doing a grand job of taking my mind off some less than pleasant stuff this week. Thanks Universe 🙏
