It is March so St. Patrickโs Day must be just around the corner. Pubs will be stocking up with Guiness, and leprechauns will have a day off guarding their rainbows to celebrate on the 17th. Just in case any Irishman would forget, Patty has crafted a typically Irish theme to remind everyone.
Named after the Roman god of war, in these troubled times unfortunately it feels we need a month named after a god of peace. We can only hope things improve very soon.
We can celebrate the meteorological start of the Spring and following horrendous rainfall the sun has finally appeared in Swanage, and the warm rays have been much appreciated. The mercury has started rising on the thermometer and the snowdrops and daffodils are making an appearance.
Aquamarine and bloodstone are the birthstones for March with the yellow hues of the daffodil taking the birth flower honours. Pisceans and Ariens will be celebrating birthdays this month. In many countries across the world, Motherโs Day will also be celebrated so remember that special gift for mums across the globe.
We are expecting the new Elfbeads release, Gifts of Spring very shortly and along with the recent Black Raven Maya Collection, there have been plenty of new beads to choose from in the store. OHM and Redbalifrog also remain on offer through March.
On the 9th March we will be saying farewell to the founder of the business, Dave Macrow. His legacy will live on as we will continue to run the business as Macrow & Son enter their 25th year. Although we have lost a highly skilled craftsman who successfully followed in his fatherโs footsteps his memory will live on in the jewelry business for years to come. We thank everyone for their kind words left on both the online sites and by e-mail.
Thank you Patty for your wonderful creation and we wish everyone a safe and happy March.
