Mann Jewellers Established in 1741, Mann Jewellers is still a family-run business. We're proud to have been trading in Stroud for over 70 years.

At Mann Jewellers we cater for a wide range of needs. We stock everything from simple Sterling Silver pieces, to stunning Diamond and Gemstone rings. We have a range of stock to suit every need and price range. We currently have a fantastic range of both wedding bands and engagement rings for that special occasion. We also do a wide range of both jewellery and watch repairs, which in a lot of cases we can quote for right away and many can even be done immediately on the premises while you wait. We also have a gorgeous collection of second hand items, which are a favourite among our customers, where you can find something a bit different.

Apparently a very wealthy and famous American has just worn a diamond studded bra worth slightly south of $50 million...

While it's undoubtedly a stunning work of art, we wonder if it's quite the thing for the Cotswolds?

While a diamond zip pull for the old Barbour might just be acceptable, the weather here is really not ideal for this sort of clothing.

It might be fine in Nottingham, or perhaps the Ottley Run in Leeds is just the place, but we're not thinking of branching out into lingerie in Stroud just yet, however sparkly.

Could we suggest sticking to diamonds on your fingers and in your ears for now? It is, after all, October.

Today is Mr & Mrs Mann's 41st Wedding Anniversary.

Apparently that means it's a diamond anniversary.

Again…

Mr Mann is slightly bewildered: "Wasn't it diamond last year?” he asks plaintively. “And the year before that, and the one before…?”
“No, no. It’s definitely diamond this year” says Mrs Mann airily.

Mr Mann is still bewildered. He used to have a paper chart thingy with all the anniversaries on it, but it has unaccountably disappeared, which is annoying, because now he doesn’t know the answer, when people ask him.

“Wasn’t there paper?” he asks his helpmeet. “And, lace, and tin and copper…?”

“Oh, that was decades ago!” says his cheery wife. “Luckily for you, because tin and copper have gone through the roof. Also, you don’t need a paper thingy with anniversaries on because you’ve got me, and I know things. Aren’t you lucky?”

Mr Mann briefly contemplates buying one of those tee shirts which declare: “I don’t need Google because my wife knows everything” (luckily, he does this silently) but then decides it might be more politic to go for the one saying “My other car’s a “2CV”, if he wants to get to his 42nd anniversary.

Talking of which:
“What’s next year, then?” he asks his sparkly wife.
“Diamond!” she says, decidedly. “Probably. Or it might be Tanzanite. There’s a nice one in your window…”
