Hi everyone.... hope everyone is readjusting to the current situation.... those back at work - well done... if you have children back to school - how quiet is the house!!
I've been doing the odd commission over the last couple of months via word of mouth - so a huge thank you to those who have reached out, it is appreciated 🌈xx

September is a busy birthday month for us and I wanted to share this lovely commission I did for a 'Big' Birthday in July!

It felt quite strange taking fingerprints outside but the end result was definitely worth it.... James and Sophie's fingerprints were taken directly onto Silver Precious Metal Clay. After drying, sanding, firing and polishing, they were soldered onto Sterling Silver Cufflink backs.... a truly unique, bespoke gift to celebrate a very Special Grandfather's Birthday 🥂🎉

End of School Year.... The end of Primary School is such a huge event when your child has been looked after and nurtured by a familiar group of teachers or one specific to your child. They are so important on the journey and when you find one, or two who go above and beyond it's an absolute blessing!
Lovely to have been asked to create these Sterling Silver Bead bracelet gifts as a 'Thank you for your support' for two fabulous Teachers.... 🍎🌈💗💗

Sorry it's been so long; here we are in April 2020!!!
Hope this post finds everyone safe and well and of course at home isolating if you can.... those who are key workers... wow, we thank and Salute you for having to go above and beyond the call of your daily duties🌟💜🌈
Haven't our worlds all been turned upside down in 2020!? It seems hard almost wrong to celebrate right now when we continuously hear, read and see the press...social and governmental... talking of fear spreading, stockpiling getting out of hand and gloom throughout the world. For myself keeping some sanity with a slightly taxing 'mind' activity.... yr 7&8 school work! and a 'virtual' Pub Quiz has been a key element, along with daily workouts and social connections. We should all still try to structure a day as best we can and bring some joy to our day alongside the workload. This benefit can be met through learning, exercise, or mini celebrations/achievements, even if at the mo that is a calm house or just succeeding in obtaining a bag of rice/pasta/hand sanitiser.... call it a mini personal victory! Plus of course Birthdays still crop up and go on regardless.... definitely one to remember! My son is 12 on 14th April and I'm thinking about putting some food aside now (freezing and hiding) so we can enjoy his 'virtual' Birthday with some of his favourites... pizza and chocolate!!

So a couple of weeks into 'shielding isolation' for my childrens benefit, my husband working from home and children knuckling down we're finding work and home schooling going surprisingly well! I've been the 'overseer' aka house help! So It was a welcome break to be asked to create 💝🙌🏻🙌🏻

I've created small tags that can be attached to a car key, bracelet, necklace, work lanyard that shows a 'Ribbon' ;
A mark, very well recognised and respected. Different colours of ribbon represent many charities. These are Pink - They Represent Breast Cancer with the Awareness Month being October.
I can make these in batches if you have a charity to support or a large group of friends to let each other know you're together xx message me for info and special offers. (attached from an internet search is a picture of ribbons; their supporting cause, colour, and the recognised awareness month)

Today marks World Su***de Prevention Day 💙 marking a day for those who are struggling, lost loved ones and all who feel the sadness of family, friends and the larger community affected.

Big results day?? Whether you are elated🤩, pleased😃, sad😞, confused🤔 it's great to know someone is on your side and thinking of you👍. Show them they're not alone to take on the next chapter, whatever that path may be 🏫🏕! I have some great Keyring ideas for uni rooms/place of work/suitcase keys if going travelling? Alternatively, stamped Cuffs with personal messages.
However, giving encouragement to 'fly the nest' can be really hard too, so why not have a Hand or Fingerprint Charm on a necklace or bracelet to keep them close by at all times..... until they return after travels or the first term with a huge pile of washing 😉x

Today I'm feeling so grateful to our friend Darren Fortune who has just cycled the Prudential RideLondon 2019 100mile to Raise funds towards my family's number one charity!!
We all have charities that are close to our hearts... JDRF - Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Ltd - the type 1 diabetes charity is particularly important to us as I have 2 children age 12 and 11; both Type 1 Warriors!
"The charity funds research to cure, treat and prevent type 1. They work with government, academia and the industry to accelerate research in the UK and within healthcare policy to ensure that the outcomes of research are delivered to people with type 1 in the UK. They give support, including a voice to people with type 1 and their families."
Over the years some friends too have found themselves in our situation with their young children being diagnosed Type 1... I was delighted to be commissioned by Sjb to come up with some ideas and create these 2 beautiful metal Cuffs for her youngest girl to give to her carers at school; to say a BIG Thank You for all they do... they really are so special in just ensuring life is ... well normal! The Type 1 warrior... well she's an absolute superstar and taking life in her stride, making her family so proud!! ###

Friendship Bracelets: Friendship grows by liking similar things, having lots of laughter and a similar sense of humor, caring for your local surroundings, trusting each other, supporting each other in the good times and the bad, respecting each others views and opinions, listening to each other, being an advisory and comforter, and loving spending time together whether it be an every day occurrence or a catch up after a long time apart, a quick coffee or glass of wine or even holidays together....True friendship will stand the test of time and distance between! Over the last 7 years of my children's Primary Schooling we are lucky to be able to say we have experienced wonderful support as a family through my children's friends and their parents. The Parents have become lovely friends, and we feel very grateful to have such a fantastic friendship group. As the children move on to different schools I'm sure our connection will remain....
