A golden Golden Plover, etched in brass and inspired by in The Book of Bogs 💛

The golden plover is among many ground nesting birds that call the moors home.

Sphagnum moss is magical ✨

It hold 20 times its weight in water. It protects the peatlands, protects our moors from wildfires, helps to protect the valley where I live from flooding.

The peatlands are being damaged beyond repair and it takes 1000s of years to regenerate.

Exhibition starts in a couple of weeks time. Make sure to come along and support if you can 😊
