This art deco styled figurine of a lady wit( scarf measuring approx 9.7” or 24.5cm, has a substantial weight to her. . I think she is probably Spelter with a bronze patina, she has a lovely graceful design, she stands on a plinth with felted base.

A wonderful, 1920s relaxed style cloche hat. I found this hat completely separately, but the colour match with the dress is extraordinary.It is made from a soft chamois leather in a shade of warm rust. The crown is trimmed with a band, decorated with leaves in the same leather with a pretty flower in forest green. It has a classic twenties slouchy silhouette with a small, asymmetrical downturned brim.Inside, it is fully lined with a deep green faille fabric that has a lovely sheen. It features a gathered tunnel at the base with an extra liner at the base. It’s quirky and charming. Internallybalong the inner hatvitvmeasures 23” 58.5cm. It is slightly big on me at 21” but not wobbly 😊

It’s not September yet but it will be soon enough and this dress is just perfect.
Every now and then you get very lucky and come across a piece of vintage that catches your eye.

This original 1970s maxi dress is a beauty, a lovely find the colours are gorgeous, a wonderful contrast of shades; rust red and green.

It is made from a cotton corduroy fabric that has a very soft velvety feel. There is no maker’s label, but it is exceptionally well made.

The print is what makes it so interesting—it has a classic seventies Art Nouveau revival style, in the background are swirling scrolls in soft tan topped with clusters of teal flowers ,with white chrysanthemums.

Look at this hat with the dress, you just couldn’t make it up. its a perfect colour match.
