I use a variety of techniques to produce a miniature, wearable sculpture and each piece is unique and subtly different from the next. What a great weekend we had at the Artful Christmas Weekend at the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens

💍In the meantime a number of Artful Collective jewellers are set to show their work amongst 25 other talented studio jewellers at the wonderful ‘new look’ the Winter Jewels exhibition at Hilliers. It starts tomorrow and continues until the 5th January so be sure not to miss it.

🎁Discover contemporary art, craft and gifts for Christmas, directly from the Makers.

The event brings together a selection of talented artists and makers with a range of high-quality arts and crafts in the beautiful setting of the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens. From 11am-2pm there will be free festive craft activities for children in the courtyard, and live music from local groups.

Free Admission to the event, cafe & visitor centre + free parking (normal charges apply to visit the gardens).

Tomorrow I will be stewarding alongside resident jeweller at the ‘Autumn Jewels’ exhibition at in Wimborne Dorset. We have a wonderful selection of work by 15 studio jewellers. I’m delighted to be sharing a cabinet with jeweller/enameller .slattery.5 and think our jewellery works so well together.

‘Autumn Jewels’ runs from 15th to 26th October 2025. Open Wednesday to Saturday from 10am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm. Two jewellers will be stewarding each day.
Also there’s the ‘Little Pickle at the Mill Cafe’ - Opening times Tuesday - Thursday 10am - 4pm and Friday - Sunday 9.30am - 4pm (kitchen closing at 3pm everyday).

This week I packed a few pieces off ready for the ‘Summer Jewels’ exhibition at Portsmouth Museum & Art Gallery which opens tomorrow.

Whilst I’m not exhibiting with a full cabinet, I couldn’t resist sending a few pieces, as members of ACJW (Association for Contemporary Jewellery - Wessex Group ) were asked to display pieces in response to the “The Quietness of Feeling “ exhibition (an exploration of Trees through the Art of Benjamin Houghton and the

I’ve sent a few pieces for display for the exhibition, sketches, photos and some of my ‘leaf’ cards. The exhibition is stewarded by the makers themselves, is free to enter and open every day except Monday’s from 10am to 4.30pm until the 29th June.

New addition to the website! 🍂🍃🍁

It has been a bit difficult for me to get to the bench for a while, but instead, I’ve spent time turning some of my drawings into greeting cards. No surprises about what theme they are! 🍃🍂🍁 They’re very much on brand! 😄

It’s also Tree Week (well only just - last day today!) so they’re quite apt. They’re now live on my website. £3 each or £12 for 5 if you would like any (Link in the comments).

It’s that time of year again for the Artful Christmas Weekend at Hilliers near Romsey!

It has been a bit difficult for me to get to the bench for a while, but instead, I’ve spent time turning some of my drawings into greeting cards. No surprises about what theme they are! 🍃🍂🍁 They’re very much on brand! 😄

They are so new that I haven’t even got any proper photos of them yet, but you might just be able to spot them on my stand during set up. Jewellery to be set up first thing Saturday.

The weather isn’t looking great and although Hilliers outside space is closed, our event in the Visitors centre will definitely be open and is bigger and better than ever! Hope to see you there!
