16 years married today! What I didn’t know at the time was that making my own wedding headpiece and vintage jewellery bouquet was to set me on an entirely new career path - leaving my job as a journalist just 18 months later to become a full time bridal accessory designer! I took my husband’s surname when we got married and then promptly used it to brand my new business - so here’s to us and to 16 years of Debbie Carlisle - in more ways than one!
