There are few prouder moments as an employer than seeing your apprentice
present their Masterpiece.
We’re delighted to be part of the Apprentice to Masterpiece exhibition at the
Goldsmiths’ Centre until 15 April 2026, celebrating the remarkable achievements
of apprentices who completed their training in 2025/26.
The Masterpiece is the traditional culmination of a Goldsmiths’ Company
apprenticeship – up to 350 hours (or six weeks) of meticulous work
demonstrating the full breadth of skills developed throughout their training. It
marks the transition from apprentice to accomplished craftsperson.
Watching this journey unfold — from first bench skills to producing a fully
realised, exhibition-worthy piece — is a privilege. The dedication, resilience and
technical excellence shown in these works is a testament to the future of our
industry.
We’re proud to support the Goldsmiths’ Company Apprenticeship Scheme,
delivered by the Goldsmiths’ Centre and funded by the Goldsmiths’ Foundation,
and to play a role in nurturing the next generation of goldsmiths.
