Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is a fun, family show that kids will love to watch this summer, and best of all, it's completely free!

The show will be in four locations around Sevenoaks in August:

⭐️ Tuesday 18 August: Bat & Ball Centre
⭐️ Wednesday 19 August: Pontoise Park
⭐️ Thursday 20 August: Greatness Recreation Ground
⭐️ Friday 21 August: Vine Gardens

Sevenoaks Town Council manages two allotment sites in Sevenoaks, and we are always looking forward to seeing what our tenants are growing on their plots. This year we have seen some exceptional examples of great gardening and wish to recognise these with a Plot of the Month.

May’s plot of the month is located at Quakers Hall; its tenant has creatively used the space to maximise growing possibilities. Lupins and Irises bring colour to the area and dead hedging used is a great example of repurposing organic material.

If you are interested in having a plot of your own send an email to [email protected] or speak to the Sevenoaks Allotment Holder’s Association (SAHA) volunteers at tomorrow’s Health and Wellness Fair!

We hope to see you tomorrow at the Sevenoaks Health and Wellness Fair!

Over 40 organisations will be there offering plenty of opportunities to discover services, activities, and support available across Sevenoaks to help improve your health and wellbeing.

As well as all the stalls, there is also an exciting free entertainment programme:

At our Forget-me-not Café yesterday, Canterbury Archaeological Trust hosted a fantastic session about Roman Mosaics, and everyone had fun making their own.

Sevenoaks Town Council runs Forget-me-not Cafés at Bat & Ball Station for people living with dementia and their carers on the last Wednesday of every month. Next month, entertainer Phil Raymond will be hosting a fun quiz on 24th June.

Sevenoaks Area Dementia Friendly Community’s Run Walk or Push Against Dementia Event in Knole Park is returning this year on 14th June. This event raises money to sustain other Forget-me-not Cafés in the local area. For more information about the event, visit https://www.sevenoaks.gov.uk/runwalkpush/
