WATCHMAKER WANTED — FULL OR PART TIME
At Bramlys, we are incredibly fortunate to currently work with three exceptional independent watchmakers, each with their own areas of expertise — from particular brands and movements to vintage watches and different periods of manufacture.
We have no intention of changing that.
Instead, as Bramlys continues to grow, we are looking to add to the expertise available to us by employing an experienced watchmaker on either a full-time or part-time basis at our Salisbury premises.
The role could be shaped around the right person. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for watches, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work confidently on high-quality mechanical timepieces.
Depending on experience, the position could include:
* Mechanical servicing and repair
* Movement assessment and diagnostics
* Regulation and timekeeping work
* Water-resistance and pressure testing
* Bracelet, clasp and case-related work
* Inspection of incoming watches
* Advising our sales team on technical or originality questions
* Working alongside our existing network of specialist watchmakers
We regularly handle watches from Rolex, Omega, Tudor, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Cartier, Vacheron Constantin and many others, ranging from modern pieces to important vintage watches.
This is not about replacing the specialists we already trust. It is about bringing watchmaking knowledge in-house, improving the service we can offer our customers and adding another layer of expertise to the Bramlys team.
We are open-minded about the right candidate. Whether you are an established watchmaker looking for a new full-time position, semi-retired and interested in working a few days each week, or currently working independently and looking for something more permanent, we would be very interested to hear from you.
Interested, or know somebody who might be?
Please get in touch with Bramlys in complete confidence.
