Sorry I’ve been a little quiet lately — it’s a really busy time of year both at the workbench and beyond. Life pulls in all different directions..

Please do keep getting in touch if you’re looking for a piece of jewellery or have a question. The webshop is taking a little longer than expected to reopen as I’m struggling to find the time… the pull of the workbench is proving far stronger than the pull of the laptop!

One of the designs that emerged from a recent making session is these flower pendants. While sorting through supplies, I came across some solid silver wire and, with a little inspiration from the sunshine, these quickly came to life. 🌸☀️

I’m rather fond of them, but what do you think?

🌿✨

(And yes, the website update is still on the list… somewhere between polishing, soldering and dreaming up new designs!) 😄

Just restocked at the lovely Lilypad Fine Arts Gallery in Lutterworth 🌊✨

This latest selection has a strong summer ocean feel, starfishs, solid silver seashells, beach landscape designs, and of course a pawprint pendant — a little nod to beach walks with our dog 🐾 and Lutterworth’s upcoming Dog Festival next weekend.

There’s also a fresh selection of earrings, including seashell and ammonite designs, now in the gallery too.

If you’re visiting Lutterworth over the next week or so, do pop in and have a browse — it’s a beautiful space full of local creativity and craftsmanship, and all your framing needs met by Sonja🌿✨

✨ Hello May ✨

A month of warmer days, hawthorn in blossom, and (somehow) another birthday due….not sure how that keeps happening!

It’s also a busy one behind the scenes — making for shops, events, and getting pieces ready for the months ahead. News soon on a new venue!

So for now, I’m pressing pause on the website while I get organised… and try not to completely implode from multitasking 😄

Thank you for your patience — I’ll be back soon with lots to share. 🌿✨

Inspired by beach walks and pebbles gathered over time, this collection captures the quiet beauty of the shore. Each solid silver piece is shaped by flame rather than the motion of the sea, creating unique pendants and earrings.

Molten silver is poured into gently etched charcoal, allowing each form to shape itself — no two ever the same. The resulting pebbles are then carefully finished by hand, with a choice of polished, statin or oxidised surfaces, some with softly burred indentations that echo natural texture.

Pendants are created from groupings of three to four pebbles, while earrings are thoughtfully paired to complement one another.

Now available at The Alex 🌿✨
Open Thursdays- Saturdays 11-4pm
Visit to see an array of artists work, view the latest exhibition, take some time to drink a coffee, chat and always meet some interesting people.

Last Saturday I hosted another Jewellery Experience Afternoon, held in the cosy back room of a lovely village pub The Cherry Tree — and what a great afternoon it was.

My small group of three began by enjoying lunch in the pub before joining me at the benches. I bring along two jewellers’ benches and all the tools we need to saw pierce, file, stamp, solder, and finish their own unique designs.

Workshops are kept small (2–4 people) so everyone has time, space and plenty of guidance. Over 3.5 hours you’ll practise first on copper, then move on to silver to create a necklace and a pair of earrings to take home. A midway break for tea coffee chat and cake helps the ideas flow and decisions on pieces to be made.

It’s a relaxed, creative afternoon — perfect for friends, family or colleagues — and starting with a delicious home-cooked lunch by Amy in the pub makes the whole experience even more special.

If you’d like more details, do get in touch.

I’m also exploring ideas for new classes and different formats — perhaps with lunch included. I’d love to hear your thoughts to help me shape future experience afternoons. So do get in touch and let me know what you would love to make and if the idea of lunch included adds to the treat for you. Amy’s food is great and vegetarians like me are definitely catered for too x

Did you know it’s International Women’s Day? , a day to celebrate our strength, our achievements, and all the different ways we move through the world. ✨

So here’s a little glimpse of the some of the many versions of me: parachuting (despite being scared of planes!), kayaking, archery, time in the workshop, adventures with our Staffie Belle & the ocean, a woodland wedding day, and even me with a chainsaw.

All pieces of the same life.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s this: be true to yourself. Be weird, wacky, quiet, adventurous, creative, emotional, different — celebrate every part of who you are.

There isn’t a mould we have to fit into. And if there is… I was never it anyway.

There were times I hid parts of who I really was, but life has a way of teaching you that the most important thing you can do is simply be you.

Today, and every day, here’s to strong women, in all their wonderfully unique forms. 💛

Absolutely delighted to have been accepted to Leamington Art in the Park this year! ✨

A fabulous two-day event and such a lovely chance to showcase new designs, reconnect with artist friends I see each year, and meet new customers discovering my work for the first time, and return customers popping by.

My brain is already buzzing with ideas for how I want my gazebo to look — creating a welcoming little space for you to step in, chat, and maybe find that unique piece of jewellery that feels just right.

I can’t wait. 🌿✨

✨ Tuesday = Workbench Day ✨

My Tuesdays are a mix of everything — admin, designing, making, finishing, polishing… and today it’s all about preparations for Saturday’s Spring Market at the fabulous Pump Rooms in Leamington.

There’s always the quiet battle of daily life alongside studio life. This morning included essential doggie treats and food shopping, plus an extra-long walk (far nicer than the 6:30am quick march!).

The plan now is to finish polishing, stamp boxes, and get everything prepared and packed… before pausing for the excitement of a washing machine delivery (oh yes, really living it up).

I’ve also promised myself I’ll fire up my husband’s laptop and finally update my events page for you all.

Honestly, I sometimes wish one day could magically become two. If anyone has discovered how to grow extra hours, do let me know… 🌿✨

Wow — blue sky and sunshine.

It’s amazing how much lighter everything feels when the sun appears. A little more connected, a little more grounded. Sometimes it’s exactly what we need to reset.

It’s been a very busy stretch in my mental health role, which has meant limited headspace (and time) for the workshop. When my mind feels messy, I usually tidy a room… this time it was the entire workbench that got the reset at the weekend. Sadly, the house didn’t receive the same attention!

Today, with some help from the sunshine, I’m packaging up orders, heading out for a small act of self-care with lunch out, and then back to commissions - if the motivation/sun continues a little website update too.

Here’s to blue skies, small resets, and taking the energy when it comes. 🌿✨

✨ First in-person event of the year ✨

I’m really pleased to be kicking off this year’s events with The Spring Market by , held at the beautiful Pump Rooms in Leamington Spa — one of my favourite towns to visit.

It feels great to be starting the year early, and especially lovely to be back in Leamington after meeting so many new customers at Art in the Park last year. I’d love to see familiar faces again — and meet some new ones too.

Do pop along to say hello, have a chat, and talk all things jewellery. I’ll be bringing a selection of my handmade silver pieces, with plenty of one-off designs to explore.
Be sure to come on Saturday though as i shall only be there for one day!

✨ Free entry
✨ Beautiful venue
✨ A carefully curated mix of makers

It would be great to see you there. 💛✨
