We’re really excited to introduce the Warwickshire Art Festival, taking place at the beautiful Wren Hall on 14th & 15th November.

We’ve brought together a curated selection of some of our favourite local artists and makers, with lots of original artwork, handmade pieces and unique gifts to discover.

It’s the perfect place to start your Christmas shopping, find something a little different, or perhaps commission a piece of artwork for a very special gift.

Come along, meet the artists, have a browse and support local creatives.

✨ Webshop Update ✨

After a very busy week settling back into my nursing role, I’ll be finally getting some time to breathe and get the webshop finished.

The plan is to have the webshop open Tuesday evening! 🎉

I’ve got some time this weekend to work on the shop listings, and I’ve got Tuesday off — so hopefully I can get everything photographed, uploaded and ready for you to browse. ✨

There’s also some new stock now back at Lilypad Fine Arts Gallery, and I’ll be heading to The Alex on Saturday with more jewellery too. 🌿

It’s always a transition juggling the bench, events and getting back into nursing, so I’m also making sure I leave a little time this weekend to stop, breathe and actually relax! 😴☕️

As always, if there’s something you’ve seen or have been waiting for, please do message me. And if you’ve contacted me this week, your reply is on its way — I promise I haven’t forgotten you! 💚

✨ Thank you, Himley Art in the Park ✨

Well… what a weekend! 💚

The very first Himley Art in the Park was such a lovely event to be part of. Beautiful surroundings, sunshine all day Saturday and, although Sunday brought some pretty strong winds and a little rain, the atmosphere throughout the weekend was brilliant. I also learnt so much about Himley and the area.

There were so many conversations, familiar faces, new faces and lovely chats with people who stopped by. I really appreciated every single one.

It was especially lovely to hear how much my landscape pendants spoke to people. I think I’m going to need to make some more! 🌿✨

So thank you for all the wonderful words about my jewellery. I probably don’t say this often enough, but they really do mean a huge amount to me. Hearing what a piece makes someone feel, what it reminds them of, or simply that they love what I’ve created gives me such a boost — and makes me want to keep exploring, experimenting and building on the work I’m already doing.

A huge thank you to Jackie and Lindsay Himley Art In The Park for creating this new opportunity for artists and makers. I really hope I can come back next year! 🤞

Thank you too to all the musicians, volunteers and everyone who helped the weekend run so smoothly. And it was lovely to meet new artists along the way. 🎶🎨

And of course, a huge thank you to everyone who bought from me over the weekend — I hope you continue to love your pieces for years to come💚

I’m tired, but very happy and grateful after a really great weekend.

I’m back in my other role today, so the unpacking will have to wait until Tuesday! 😂

🍂 Autumn Equinox • Mabon 🍂

The balance tips, the nights begin to draw in and nature starts to slow down.

I’m really hoping I can embrace some of that slowing down too — making time for reflection, cosy evenings, bright autumn mornings and those crisp walks where everything feels just a little quieter. There’s something about that stillness that I really do love. 🌿🍁

Nature will continue to find its way into my workbench too. The changing leaves, bare branches, acorns, textures, shapes and colours all catch my eye. The little details on walks and wondering how I might translate them into silver — perhaps through a texture, a silhouette, a tiny impression or a completely new design.Ideas are already forming, and there’s nothing quite like curling up on the sofa with a sketchbook and letting them wander for a while.

Here’s to embracing the change of season, slowing down where we can and finding a little inspiration in the everyday. ✨

✨ Webshop Update ✨

So, next weekend is the wonderful new event of Himley Art in the Park, so great to be at the first… so dont forget the date.
Whilst i do have a few other exciting events over the winter months. I did promise something! 🌿

As I’ve mentioned to so many of you, once next weekend is over I’ll be turning my attention to getting the webshop back up and running, so there’ll be plenty of time to browse and get your Christmas shopping sorted. 🎄✨Cant believe i mentioned C! , but i must, because lets face it sitting at the computer to do shop listings isnt my favourite task, when i just wanna design and make.
So i need a push from you all to do it!

Some pieces will be made to order, so if there’s something you have your eye on, please do message me for an exact timeframe.

I’m also heading back to my mental health nursing role in just one week ( yikes), which means a little less bench time for a while. But don’t worry… I’ll still be trying to work my magic! 🔨✨

🌿 A little update from me…

After my September post, I had hoped to be sharing lots of inspiration and photos from our trip to the Isle of Mull this week. Unfortunately, plans changed when Belle became unwell just before we were due to leave, and we made the decision that such a long journey wasn’t right for her.

Realising your beloved furry family member is getting into her mature years is tough, and a few vet visits certainly put things into perspective. Thankfully, Belle is much more herself again. As you can see from the cheeky smile🐾💚

Our amazing friend Ragged Edge continued her Mull adventure while we took things a day at a time. We did manage a two-day break to the North Devon coast to see family, and most importantly, let Belle have a couple of beach walks which she always loves 🌊🐾

My sketchbook still came along, of course, and now I’m looking forward to getting back to the bench and preparing for Himley Art In The Park at the end of the month.

For now, Belle is snoozing and taking things and we are feeling very grateful for every beach walk. 💚

🍂 Hello September 🍂

A new month, and a little moment to pause.

September always feels like a time of change. The light starts to soften, the greens begin to shift and nature quietly reminds us that nothing stays quite the same.

This summer I’ve become completely immersed in making. I’ve loved the jewellery, the ideas, the events, but perhaps most of all the wonderful community that comes with being part of the creative world.

As the coming months get busier, with more events, commissions and new work to finish, I’ll soon also be returning to my nursing role and finding that balance between two very different parts of my life.

So this September I’m reminding myself to breathe. To pause. To remember the pieces that have found new homes and the lovely stories and comments that came with them. To make time to enjoy creating rather than allowing busy to become overwhelmed.

And, importantly, to keep finding ways to stay connected with the artists, makers and places that inspire me.

There’s plenty ahead, including a new event for me at Himley Art in the Park at the end of September, alongside commissions, new designs and whatever else decides to emerge from the workbench.

For now though… hello September. 🍂
A month to notice the changes, take a breath and remember to enjoy the journey. 🌿✨

✨ Hello May ✨

A month of warmer days, hawthorn in blossom, and (somehow) another birthday due….not sure how that keeps happening!

It’s also a busy one behind the scenes — making for shops, events, and getting pieces ready for the months ahead. News soon on a new venue!

So for now, I’m pressing pause on the website while I get organised… and try not to completely implode from multitasking 😄
