🌱 Thank You — And We Still Need You

A big thank you to everyone who’s shown interest in becoming a parish councillor — it’s been really encouraging to see people stepping forward for Carharrack ❤️

That said, we’re not quite there yet.

We still need a few more people to come forward to make sure Carharrack can remain independent and continue to be shaped by the people who live here.

If you’ve been thinking about it but haven’t reached out yet — this is your sign 👇

🕒 Just one meeting every 6 weeks
💬 No experience needed
🤝 Real impact on your local community

Even if you’re just curious, we’re always happy to have an informal chat — no pressure at all.

👉 Email the [email protected] to find out more.

Let’s keep the momentum going — and keep Carharrack in Carharrack hands ❤️

⚠️ Carharrack Needs You ⚠️

Our village is at a crossroads.

Right now, we don’t have enough parish councillors to keep Carharrack running independently. If more people don’t step forward soon, we could be forced to amalgamate with another parish — meaning decisions about our village may no longer be made by the people who live here.

And that would be a real loss.

Carharrack has always been a place where the community looks after its own — where local voices matter, and where the village is shaped by the people who care about it most.

That’s why we need you.

Becoming a parish councillor might sound daunting, but it really isn’t:

🕒 We only meet once every 6 weeks
🤝 It’s a chance to have a real say in what happens locally
🌱 You can help protect and improve the village for everyone
💬 No special experience needed — just a willingness to get involved

This is about keeping Carharrack’s identity, voice, and independence.

The village should be run by the village.

If you’ve ever thought “someone should do something about that”… this is your chance to be that someone.

👉 Please consider putting yourself forward, or message us to find out more — even just an informal chat.

Let’s keep Carharrack in Carharrack hands ❤️

🐾 Dog Owners – A Quick Reminder 🐾

Dog poo bag dispensers have been installed around the village, with more on the way. Please use them and remember to pick up after your dogs.

We’ve noticed an increase in dog fouling again in certain areas, and everyone’s cooperation helps keep our village clean and enjoyable for all.

Thank you for doing your bit 💚
