Three Cornish beaches. One loving gift. A little piece of home to carry always.

A father came to us with a thoughtful idea for his daughter, who now lives abroad. He wanted to have a special keepsake made for her, incorporating sand from three of her favourite Cornish beaches.

Something she could wear wherever life took her, keeping those much-loved places close.

Hannah communicated directly with his daughter, exploring her style and ideas so the finished piece would feel just right for her. Together, they settled on this classic, timeless ring, with a small setting holding the precious sand in black resin.

Simple and elegant, with a deeply personal story at its heart.

Those tiny grains hold a connection to three favourite places, to Cornwall, and to a father who wanted his daughter to have a little of home with her, however far away she might be.

It was a privilege to help turn such a loving thought into a piece of jewellery to treasure.

One lost earring… and the beginning of something beautiful.

Losing a favourite earring is so disappointing, especially when it’s part of a pair you’ve loved wearing.

When our client came to us, she wanted to take the opportunity to try something new. She had her own gold and four remaining stones from the one remaining earring, and hoped we could turn them into a pair of earrings she would love just as much.

Hannah created four design options for her to choose from, and these elegant, timeless drops were the favourites.

Then it was over to our fabulous trainee goldsmith, who melted our client’s gold and began bringing the chosen design to life. The four stones were kept in their existing settings and carefully incorporated into the new earrings, suspended beneath beautifully hammered gold discs.

From a pencil drawing to a finished pair, her own precious materials became something fresh, full of movement, texture and colour — ready to be worn and enjoyed again.

It’s such a pleasure to help a client discover what’s possible with jewellery they already own. Sometimes, an unexpected loss can lead to a lovely new chapter.

The same silver. The same sentiment. A beautiful new chapter.

A client came to us with some heavy silver pieces she no longer wore. They held memories she wanted to keep, but she longed to turn them into something beautiful and timeless that she could enjoy every day.

And so, together, we began imagining what they could become.

Hannah designed a necklace with graduating hammered links, accompanied by a matching bracelet. Our amazing goldsmith then brought the designs to life, using our client’s own silver to create these lovely pieces.

Each hammered link catches the light, carrying a little of the past into something fresh and wearable. All that sentiment, now ready to become part of her everyday life.

That’s one of the loveliest things about remodelling jewellery: helping someone fall in love with their treasured metal all over again.

A little sketch, a beautiful emerald, and the skill to bring them together.

Another lovely piece from our Walkers Handmade Collection, this elegant single-stone ring was designed by Hannah and made here at Walkers by our talented goldsmiths.

Set in 18ct yellow gold, the emerald takes centre stage, its rich green colour complemented by the warmth of the gold. Simple lines and a delicate four-claw setting let the stone speak for itself.

There’s something special about following a piece from its first drawing through to the finished ring. An idea on paper becomes something you can hold, slip onto your finger and imagine wearing for years to come.

Every special piece of jewellery begins with an idea…

A favourite colour. A stone you’ve always loved. A little detail that means something to you. Then comes the lovely question: “Could we make something especially for me?”

At Walkers Jewellers, that’s where the story begins.

This beautiful, heavy silver bangle started as a design by Hannah. On paper, its flowing Celtic-inspired detail framed a rich blue lapis, with two diamonds nestled into the ends for a little extra sparkle.

Then, into the hands of our one of our amazing goldsmiths it went. With skill, care and patience, the drawing became something real: a substantial silver bangle to slip onto a wrist, admire and enjoy for years to come.

Watching an idea become a finished piece is such a special part of what we do. Even lovelier is knowing someone will wear it because every detail feels right for them.

From a pencil sketch to a place in our window… waiting to become part of your story.

Sometimes we have the pleasure of creating a piece for our own collection, imagining the moment someone will see it, try it on and fall in love.

Designed by Hannah and made here at Walkers Jewellers, this elegant ring brings together a beautiful oval tanzanite and two pear-shaped diamonds, set in 18ct yellow gold.

The rich blue-violet of the tanzanite, framed by warm gold and the sparkle of diamonds, gives this classic three-stone design a personality all its own.

We’ve watched it grow from an idea on paper into the finished ring — and now we get to wonder where its story will go next.

Perhaps it will be there for a heartfelt “Will you marry me?” Or mark an anniversary, celebrating everything a couple have shared and all that’s still to come.
