I took this the sentimental, wide gold wedding ring on the left of the first picture and used half of it to make a new wedding ring to match the engagement ring on the right.

The 3mm wide strip of 9ct gold was tough to bend but we got there in the end!

The new wedding band fits the profile of the engagement ring perfectly - next stop, engraving.
