"We had the most amazing day and were carefully guided through every step with demonstrations on practice rings. I was worried about messing up something so important but Becca made me feel confident and capable.

We started out working each other's rings, then did a bit on both together before finally finishing off our own ...To see the outcome of two beautiful and unique pieces which started out as nothing but flat strips of metal was magical. I'm looking for an excuse to go back and do another!"

From recycled platinum and yellow gold to a brand new wedding and engagement ring set - thank you for letting me make you something to treasure !

Durability was important here so we opted for bezel and flush settings on the stones -with no raised claws or edges to catch and pull.

I love mixing metal colours and the soft grey of platinum goes so well with yellow gold.

After stretching out the ingot into a thin wire, I made a batch of little jump (connecting) rings from some of the remaining wire, attaching one to each end of the bracelet sections.

This will articulate it and let it move comfortably around the wrist.

I finally pieced it all together using the original catch from the inherited bracelet.

Continuing the remodel of an old sentimental bracelet, I stretched the ingot out into a long oval wire. It always amazes...

Continuing the remodel of an old sentimental bracelet, I stretched the ingot out into a long oval wire.

It always amazes me how far this beautiful material goes. I then curved it into the basic shape of the new bracelet.

It's going to made in sections, to echo the design of the original.

Had an amazing day making wedding rings with Becca in her studio, so kind, friendly and welcoming. It was fantastic from start to finish. We loved learning how to make the rings under Becca’s brilliant guidance and excellent teaching ...

So enjoyable to spend time making each rings. It’s so nice to have a special memory making such an important part of our big day. Highly recommend the whole experience and can’t wait to wear the rings!

💍 or one can be re-purposed vintage while the other is custom made
💍 or one can be engraved while the other isn't.
