This 1.5ct old‑cut diamond is a rare find — warm, romantic, and full of character.

An old‑cut diamond is a hand‑cut stone from the Georgian, Victorian or Edwardian eras, created before modern precision tools existed. Each one is slightly different, shaped by eye — which is exactly why they feel so soulful and characterful.

Anne has crafted it into a striking one‑of‑a‑kind ring, setting the stone in a rich 14ct yellow gold rubover setting and anchoring it on a chunky, textured platinum band.

1.50 carat diamond, VS2, colour grade K. Comes with a GIA certificate.

Size Q, but can be resized.

Located in Penarth, South Wales, the gallery is a warm, inviting space where contemporary jewellery is celebrated every day. We work hard to showcase jewellery from some of the UK’s leading contemporary jewellers — makers whose craftsmanship and creativity inspire us constantly.

At the centre of it all is Anne Morgan, an award‑winning jeweller known for creating tactile, textured pieces that embrace the beauty of imperfection. Anne opened the gallery over 10 years ago and works from her on‑site studio. She makes jewellery in recycled precious metals, often paired with rose‑cut diamonds and striking gemstones. Anne also loves remodelling jewellery — transforming unworn heirlooms and sentimental pieces into meaningful, modern designs that can be worn and loved again.

And behind the scenes is our strong female team — Lucy, Georgia, Lily, Emily, Kate, Laura and Millie -- friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help you explore, try on, and discover pieces you’ll love.
