I am passionate about making jewellery using *sterling and *fine silver as my main materials. I am from a fine arts background so making jewellery is to me like sculpture and painting on a smaller scale. I am influenced by nature and strive for simplicity, symmetry and a balance of metals and stones. I do not duplicate private commissions and do not mass produce my pieces. Due to the handmade nat
ure and the variation in the stones/beads/pearls, no two pieces are ever the same!
*sterling silver. (92.5% silver mixed with an alloy for strength. Used for the majority of silver work and silver smithing.)
* fine silver. (99.9% silver once fired.) Packaging: I currently use small and large pale blue organza gift bags. Matte silver cardboard small and medium gift boxes with a light wadding lining also available at a charge of £0.80 small and £1.50 for the medium. I prefer to use packaging which is in some way recyclable or re-useable.. You may of course just want tissue paper which I am happy to supply.
