There is still some places on this 2 day wax carving course at Attenborough Arts centre at the University of Leicester On the first day we will explore wax carving using the reductive technique and 2 weeks later the students return to finish and polish there casting after they have been cast into the metal of their choice. Success! Sand casting with gems is always a bit hit or miss but we had a great day Nottingham Jewellery School where I taught a talented group of 6 students this new technique. They did a fantastic job with some great results.
