Jo creates precious jewellery that is a little different, sometimes dramatic, sometimes subtle. All her work is handmade in precious metals, often recycling vintage silver and gold charms and chains. She also uses words, sayings and song lyrics in her pieces taking inspiration from all manner of different sources. ▪️.amaker week is back and today is ‘My Story’

Hi 👋🏽 I’m Jo.
I come from a fashion/photography background which definitely influences my style of jewellery.

Pic 1 in my studio, Pic 2 is me inside one of my triple rings 🙋🏼‍♀️⭕️⭕️⭕️ (which are pics 3&4).

All of my work is handmade in solid recycled golds (all the shades and carats) and recycled silver.

Over the last couple of years I’ve not only been recycling precious metals I’ve been taking broken and vintage pieces apart and using elements of them in new, exciting, one off pieces. Continuing their story.

I’m currently working on new things for my first show of the year, the AMAZING can’t wait. I’m going all out! 😆▪️

▪️Penny & Bretts wedding rings 🫶🏽

Wedding rings don’t have to be traditional ☺️
Pennys made in part with her own gold and had all the colour and carats. From 22ct yellow to 9ct rose.
Brett’s in gorgeous buttery 18ct and silver.

I met Penny & Brett at Lustre in November and the process of designing and making began.

▪️One of many really special chains I made last year, this one had coordinates of somewhere really special, a shoe for a shoe lover, initials of children, plus a few other very personal touches to make this piece really unique to the the lucky lady 😆😍

▪️Loved this one. Each member of Jo’s family commissioned their initial in solid recycled gold and I designed this pendant for a special birthday.
Really enjoyed coming up with the different styles, and love the cool relaxed style of them hanging in a cluster on a long gold chain 👌🏽 🫶🏽

2025 was once again a year of charms, initials and one of a kind pieces…what will 2026 be? 🤔 ▪️
