🌻 We are already in September and I finally started to make my first jewellery out of my new studio. The studio still looks chaotic and not very cosy or inviting. But that will change over the coming weeks of course.

My first batch had to include some leaves and seaside things of course! And also a few pieces for Just Canny, the first shop that actually wanted a shelf with my designs all those years ago, and it's still going strong. 🙌

So what's next for my jewellery and studio this autumn? Getting fully back into the creative flow of making is top of list. I imagine lots of leaves and autumnal pieces, possibly real leaf shapes and textures. I also want to continue to explore my beaded gemstone necklaces and I'm dying to work with bold, warm glowing stones and colours. I also want to sprinkle some celestial magic in and possible do some more circle of life designs.

⚒️❤️ And I'm now also taking commissions, requests and recommendations for autumn and Christmas again ❤️⚒️

🎂🎊🎁 And last but not least, it's my 10th business anniversary this month! Have you got any ideas how to celebrate and share the joy with you? (A sales promo? A giveaway? Or anything else?) 🎁🎊🎂

A small reminder that it is still summer, call it late summer or indian summer or whatever you like but do not call it autumn yet! It's incorrect and rude towards all summer enthusiasts 🤣 Having said that I absolutely love autumn but not just yet. Let's cross that leave-peeping, cinnamon bun, pumkin latte cosy season bridge when we actually get there!

August was a month to remember. We successfully moved house, stressful and intense as it was but it's all done now and we're still here 🤘
It wasn't our choice initially to move (our landlord is selling) but we did have a choice on where to move and how to deal with the entire situation and after the initial shock we have found our little dream home, which is not only double the size of our old flat, but it's actually a house, has a garden and is a 2 minutes walk away from the seafront! I mean, how amazing is that? How lucky are we? How was all this worry & stress a blessing in disguise? 🤯🥰

It's still a lot of chaos and there's tons of stuff to do, but with all deadlines out of the way we can go at our own pace now.

One thing I'm really looking forward to is my studio, which will be up & running soon and I cannot wait to be back at my bench making and creating and also to be more present online, at Instagram and Facebook!

So bye bye August and hello to September, a month of change and renewal. Certainly true for me and hopefully for you too. 🥰🍃☀️

I'm so looking forward to be back at Tynemouth Market this Sunday. The first 3 slides is me at the market a couple of weeks ago, happy but knowing what's coming. The last 3 slides is an update on how it's going...currently cleaning the flat, handover next week and then that's the worst behind us. Who knew moving house could be that stressful...I'm definitely not planning on moving again any time soon 🤣

Oh, the joy of moving house! We all know it. Some love it, some hate it. And I'm definitely one of the latter. It doesn't used to be this way but it was easier back in the day when we didn't own furniture and had a couple of bags and boxes 🤣

It's definitely an intense and stressful experience and that's what I look like 🤣 I can't remember the last time I showered or washed my hair, my cold sore is flaring up and I'm limping like a 3 legged cat 😅 There's no way I'll be at the market at Tynemouth this way but I'll be back next week in a slightly better state than now. And the house move should be done by then too...

These baby turtles came to life a while ago but never made their way to stall or shop. Mystical Labradorite, warm glowing Amber and gently shimmering Kyanite - different stones but all equally charming! 🐢🐢🐢

I'm still in the middle of moving house - and boy is it intense! But we're slowly seeing a light at the end of the tunnel and ate still able to enjoy some small moments in between. And I'll be at the Market this Tynemouth for a change of scenery.

☀️ Back to Tynemouth Market this weekend. Despite our house move I'll still be at Tynemouth Market in my usual spot tomorrow. Don't worry, my table and online shop are still filled with jewellery and I'll be working throughout my move.

I won't be doing anything silver smithing wise until the end of August but once my new studio is up and running, you wont be able to stop me...

🌿 Thank you so much for an amazing weekend at Powburn Show and Tynemouth Market.
