Well we’ve been beaten by the weather again with being cancelled due to high winds 😢

Here we have two garnets and a beautiful rhodochrosite, all handmade with recycled sterling silver.

These rings would’ve been new out today but looks like their first outing will be next Sunday instead.

Fingers crossed🤞🏻 the weather is kinder to us next week 🙂

You’ll find these beautiful Edison pearls plus many more at my stall tomorrow.

Did you know that Edison pearls are each grown in a particular place in individual molluscs which helps to give them their near round shape?

This also contributes to their higher price point compared to other freshwater cultured pearls as the yield from each crop is also lower.

I have limited stock of these so you can dm me or pop to the market if you’re interested. I can also make these with sterling silver if gold isn’t your thing.

💜 Ellysian was started almost 14 years ago…🤯
💜 I am very camera shy! The thing on my head is a magnifier visor for those gemstones and solder seams that require extra attention.
💜Making jewellery is my absolute passion and has been since I was around 11 years old. The only thing that’s changed are the materials I use. Some might say my obsession with gemstones is out of hand, personally I don’t think that’s possible 😆
💜 I love learning new skills and challenging myself in my jewellery making, so I thought doing the same with my social media skills was way over due!

Even though we’ve been beaten by the weather again this Sunday and not been able to attend , it doesn’t mean I’ve been relaxing!

Genuine Baltic amber in the most beautiful warm orange/brown tones.

Amber isn’t a gemstone I work with often which is more down to not being able to find good quality material than anything else. However, the quality of these beads is just gorgeous 😀

Did you know amber is a form of fossilised tree resin which is approximately 40-60 million years old?! Nature is amazing!

Unfortunately no market for us today due to the strong winds 🙁🙁 but we should be back as normal next Sunday 🙂

In the mean time here are some gorgeous Ethiopian opals.
As much as I love these stones, they are a real challenge to photograph! After several attempts at different displays and lighting, standing outside in the sunshine showed their opalescence at its best.

We have bracelets featuring Ethiopian opal with peridot and white topaz, followed by black Ethiopian opal with black spinel and then a pretty pink opal.

The earrings are again both Ethiopian opal and hung on sterling silver hooks.

The white opal is also available on 14k gold filled hooks.
