Now that the flock are shorn we are going to be offering some of our shearing ewes for new 🏡’s.
These are an absolute cracking bunch of hampshire downs shearling ewes all sired by our rams purchased from Whitby Flock.

I don’t think it’s stopped raining since the day we turned the ewes and lambs out at the beginning of January. One of the wettest winters on record… but it hasn’t slowed this one down 🌧️🐑

Such a hardy, strong, fast-growing breed.

Lots 51,52,53 ram lambs at Shrewsbury ready for tomorrow’s auction.
December born, wintered out on grass since end of January.
Lot 64 shearling ewe wintered out on grass and brought in this morning.

Happy to bring home for collection.

Fantastic day at our local show The New Forest Show yesterday. Only entered 4 classes as we are 9 weeks off welcoming baby number 2 to the team but very pleased with the results.
1st trimmed ewe lamb
1st older ewe
1st untrimmed ram lamb
3rd shorn ewe lamb

Maisie’s taking an interest with her little lamb this year who she took around the grand parade 🐑 Future young handler in the making ⭐️

Congratulations to all other Hampshire down competitors it was great to be back out at the shows after a quiet couple of years 🙌🏻

Unfortunately we are unable to make the breed sale at Shrewsbury this Saturday 🐑
Best of luck to everyone attending the sale.

Really pleased with how this ram has turned out. He’s wintered out on just grass. Nice to see what he’s about now he’s had a hair cut 🐑✂️
