We know this update might feel a little frustrating, so we wanted to explain it properly.
From now on, we’ll only fit jewellery that has been purchased from us, or jewellery from a trusted, reputable, APP-approved brand that we know and are happy to work with.
This isn’t about being awkward.
It isn’t about forcing you to buy from us.
And it definitely isn’t about judging where your jewellery came from.
It’s about keeping you safe.
We’ve had more people coming in with irritation, soreness, bumps, and healing issues after wearing jewellery made from plated metals, unknown materials, or pieces that may contain nickel. Sometimes the jewellery looks lovely on the outside, but if the material, finish, size, or fitting isn’t right for your body, it can cause real problems.
When we fit jewellery, we’re taking responsibility for what goes into your piercing. So we need to be confident that the piece is safe, suitable, and made to a standard we trust.
If you already own jewellery from a reputable source, please still ask us. We’re always happy to take a look and advise honestly.
Our priority will always be the same:
safe piercings, quality jewellery, and the best possible experience for you long-term.
