This stunning piece is called 'bowlerite' and is made from...drum roll please...a bowling ball 🎳

I have a few pieces of bowlerite, done of which I'll try not to steal for myself (this one included!!).

You may not believe it but dental floss is an essential piece of kit on my bench. When setting stones you have to put the stone into the handmade cup multiple times before the piece is ready for the final set.

To make sure the stones don't get stuck, you lay some floss behind it so that you can pop the stone out easily.

That doesn't always happen. Sometimes the stone is so tight that the floss snaps. Then I cry. And drink coffee and moan.

Sometimes it'll sit on my bench for weeks, even months before I can find the strength to take it apart and start again! Often beeswax helps too. But if all fails. Coffee...

June is back, again, already...!

We're taking the world by storm, peeps. Standing strong in solidarity in the LGBTQ+ family including allies. I'm so fortunate to be surrounded by such a good strong support network who celebrate the community. I'm aware that not everyone gets that luxury.

You'll find that during June you will be seeing more marches, parades and celebrations happening around the world which not only gives the community more visibility but it offers more spaces and opportunities for those less fortunate than myself to easily be involved in such gatherings.

Please embrace and support your community as the beautiful and colourful one that it is!

Also... Find me at Cardiff Pride in the castle on the 13th and 14th June!

Saturday was so much fun!! Thank you to the organisers of the St Dogmaels summer festival, it was a superb day enjoyed by all!! I was very happy in my gazebo surrounded by lovely traders, customers and live music!

And a huge thanks to the customers who came and supported me! It was lovely to meet each and every one of you!
