Sunday | Rest, Recharge & Refresh 🤎

As creatives, we often feel like we should always be making, creating, posting, or planning the next thing. But I've learnt that sometimes the most productive thing we can do is simply rest.

Some of my best ideas for new DriftwoodBeachCo creations don't come when I'm sat at my workbench — they arrive after I've taken a day to slow down, recharge, and give my mind a little breathing space.

Creativity needs room to wander, and sometimes stepping away is exactly what helps inspiration find its way back.
So today, I'm embracing a slower pace, enjoying the little things, and allowing myself the time to rest, recharge, and refresh.

A massive big thank you to everyone who came along and supported my small business over the last 3 days at The Broadstairs May Fair.
The thank you is not only for the lovely people who made purchases but extended to those who made such lovely comments and took business cards.
Every one of you makes it all worth while from the getting up very early, setting up my pop-up and being there all day to serve you, answer questions then pack up and do it all again the next day.

At DriftwoodBeachCo I absolutely LOVE welcoming families to my pop-up stall… but with lots of delicate handcrafted pieces made from genuine beachcombed treasures from the Kent Coast, we do have a couple of very important rules 👀😂

🦀 “Unattended children will be used as crab bait”
(Only joking… obviously 😅)

🦀 “No crabby attitudes”
Because life’s too short to be salty 🌊😂

In all seriousness though, thank you to all the lovely parents who supervise little hands while browsing 🤎 It really does help protect all the one-off handmade pieces and keeps the stall calm and enjoyable for everyone.

There’s something so special about giving new life to pieces shaped by the sea 🌊🤍

This one-of-a-kind necklace features a genuine beachcombed sea glass marble found along the Kent Coast, carefully hand drilled and fitted with a silver cap for hanging. Suspended within a frosty white sea glass bottle neck, hand carved into the perfect sea glass circle, creating a beautifully organic coastal design.

Finished with a delicate leaf bail and suspended from a 20" Sterling Silver chain, this piece is a little reminder of the beauty that can be found washed ashore ✨

Every piece of sea glass tells a story… and no two are ever the same.
