I delivered new work to the wonderful yesterday including this gold plated silver necklace with pink faceted tourmaline beads just in time for valentine's day.

BACK TO WORK

After an extra week off to home schooling and a couple of days off due to a sickness bug, the boys are finally back to school and I am back to the bench. I started the day with a quick frosty morning photo shoot and captured this image. I love the contrast of the lush gold next to the dark wood and frost. This necklace is now on display in in similar pieces are also available in my online shop (link in bio). Happy hump day!

BEST LAID PLANS

Yesterday I didn't like the thought of going back to reality, but was full of hopes and plans for today and much neglected paperwork. Well school has other plans, a burst pipe, collapsed ceiling and flood all meant the boys prays were answered. They had a snow day today and more to follow in the next day or two. So my paperwork will have to wait and I'll be returning to work a little later. Right now I'll just photo and video our beautiful surroundings and enjoy a couple more days with my boys.

HAPPY NEW YEAR &BACK TO REALITY

I hope you enjoy a wonderful Christmas. I know we had the best break, lots of board games, walks and too much cheese. I don't know that I am ready for the boys to return to school tomorrow and us to work. I want to stay in our little bubble and hibernate some more.
Studio 6 as all will remain closed until Wednesday. In the meantime I'll be working from home planning 2026 and make a start on neglected paperwork.
As I think about the year ahead and reflect on 2025, I'm starting a wishlist...
I hope the price of silver falls (think this maybe every jewellers wish 😂)
I hope the economy improves, this would really help so many small businesses.
More importantly though...
I hope this year is kind, positive, adventurous, with good news, good health and happy memories for us all.
Mostly I'm hopeful.

UNDER THE TREE

On the first day of Christmas let me introduce you to Under the Tree an exhibition I'm very excited to be taking part in at the beautiful in Bovey Tracey. Make southwest have selected an incredible array of talented makers to exhibit with them this Christmas. This includes my water cast golden cup collection.

NEW STOCK
New stock has arrived at the amazing on Beech rd in Chorlton. If you've not visited Beech rd is one ofy favourite places to wandered with lots of little independent shops and lovely coffee shops. These 24ct gold plated, silver water cast studs will be on display at Franny and Filers along with a whole collection of my work.

LAST DAY OF TERM
Tomorrow is the last day of term, some how a full school year has flown by. Both boys have had an amazing year, and achieved incredible things. Their teachers are amazing and to say a little thank you to them my boys have picked a pair of these earrings for each of them. Water cast cups with 24ct gold leaf on the inside. Hopefully they'll like them.

New Photos New Work
July, the months fly, I've been working on some new designs and new images. Here is the first of both. I've never liked the traditional white background for jewellery it's plain and clinical. This feels richer, more interesting and full of contrast.
The studs are new and can be found in studio 6 at they'll soon be in my online shop too (link in bio)
