I had a really lovely man contact me on Etsy. He knew he wanted to get a piece of jewellery for his girlfriend's birthday that held her Nan's ashes, but he wasn't sure what and how it all worked so he asked me to call him. We had a lovely chat and I then sent him some examples so he could see the different colours and finishes. In the end he decided on purple with ashes visible and glitter dust . He was really appreciative of the guidance and received the bead in plenty of time before he was taking his girlfriend away for a birthday treat. It was an honour to help him 💚 x

This is a beautiful necklace I made for one of my Etsy customers. The lady had just lost her beloved family dog Fin and wanted a necklace for her daughter's birthday. She chose to have Fin's ashes hidden so she set them at the back and then she chose pale blue and aurora glitter. This is definitely one of my favourite combinations 💚 x

At one of the Bearsted Market’s last year, I had a lady order a handprint bracelet featuring the prints of her little boy for her sister as a birthday gift. I remember it well as it was a really windy day and a gust of wind blew over my jewellery stands and I was picking up my jewellery samples out of the grass! 😂
Once the sister had been gifted her print kit she got in touch and we chatted through lots of options. She decided she’d also like a footprint of her son on the pendant and she also was torn between keeping a bracelet or changing it for a necklace. After lots of conversations she ended up deciding on changing to a necklace and upgrading to a large size pendant so she could have both prints on it. This is the end result- a beautiful necklace with her son’s hand and footprints on it. In situations like thus, most of the time I can be flexible if the recipient would like to tweak the order so it’s completely perfect for them 💚 x

Here is a cut out paw print necklace I made recently. I love making cut out paw print necklaces as no two are ever the same. I make the paw print in to a stamp, I place that stamp in to silver clay, then I cut around it free hand and leave it to dry. Once the clay has dried out I sand it, then I fire it, then I polish it. It’s quite a long process but I find it so therapeutic 💚 x

I made this necklace for someone on Etsy recently. This is my medium sized circle pendant. It might seem like it’s a lot having 3 different sized circle pendants but ashes jewellery is so personal and it’s so important to get it just right for the wearer that I like to give the options of a really subtle small piece, something a little larger or my large circle which is more noticeable. This gentleman chose light green, ashes hidden and no finishing touch. The light green isn’t a core colour offered on my website but if you like it then absolutely I can do it for you 💚 x

This was such a special necklace to make. I first met the lady who ordered this seven years ago. She was going through the most unimaginable grief. Her and her husband had this incredible warm and kindness and carried themselves with such grace despite what they were going through. I always remember the jewellery I made for them and have often thought about them. The lady got back in touch with me earlier this year to ask for another piece of jewellery to be made. She asked for a large fingerprint necklace. Whilst a small size would have also worked, for her the large size was important as she wanted to capture as many precious fingerprint lines as possible she could. It is such a beautiful print to work with and it meant the world to be able to help this incredible lady again 💚 x

Thank you to everyone who who has shown interest in my Heart Secretly set necklace. It’s such a stunning necklace and a really different way to showcase ashes jewellery. I have recently made a sample for a funeral directors who are now sharing it with all the families they support. The area to set the ashes at the back of the necklace is quite shallow so my recommendation is to have ashes hidden like in this photo. I set them in first and then add a colour on top. For this necklace I chose white and then I leave it with a beautiful matt finish. If you do want ashes visible, then this will be possible if I set the ashes directly against the silver (therefore with no colour) and then seal them in with clear resin. If you would prefer this option just send me a message and I can share an example with you when I have done with with a different pendant 💚 x

A lot of my paw print necklaces I make are either circle shaped or heart shaped so it's always fun when I get asked to do a different shape. I made this necklace for a many who had ordered something for my previously. As he wanted a simple way to tell the difference between this paw print and the previous one he asked for a J to be added to it. I had a look at all the different places the J could sit. I wanted to find a balance between symmetry and not compromising on the size of the paw print. In the end I landed on this design and I think it works really well. The J is there and noticeable, but it doesn't distract from the beautiful paw print 💚 x

A beautiful small circle necklace with light blue, ashes hidden and no finishing touch. My light blue has a beautiful natural sheen to it so that you still get some texture even if you don't want a glitter or shards as a finishing touch. None of my colours are flat matt colours. They start off as powders than I mix with clear resin to create the beautiful colours that you see 💚 x

I loved making this necklace. A lady ordered this from her aunt via my Etsy shop to honour her dog Trixie who passed away . The paw print part of this is actually really tiny so it's really intricate work. Trixie's owner chose red, ashes visible and no finishing touch. I selected some really tiny pieces of ashes so that I could fit one in each of the toes and then I placed some other small bits in the main pad. The lady who ordered this was over the moon with the end result as was her Aunt who can now always keep Trixie with her 💚 x
