My name is Syan Vadgama, and I created OnTheWrist.uk.
It all started with a vintage Seiko watch gifted by my grandad. I was instantly captivated by the watch’s ability to keep time using only springs, gears, and precision mechanics. No battery needed-just pure, meticulous craftsmanship and engineering.
Inspired by this appreciation for design and precision, figures such as Gerald Genta, and the artistry behind some of the world’s most iconic timepieces, I was led to study Design Engineering at Imperial College London.
What started as a personal passion evolved into something greater. With developed knowledge of both craftsmanship and the market behind luxury watches, I founded OnTheWrist.uk at 18 years old.
Today, we provide access to over 1000 luxury watches through trusted sourcing networks, helping clients discover pieces they genuinely connect with. For us, a watch is far more than something that tells the time: It holds meaning, marks milestones and becomes part of someone’s story.
