Two sapphire necklaces for September birthstone.
The first statement necklace is set with cabochon sapphires with a pebble design alternating yellow and white gold with an open link.
The second necklace is set with my favourite sapphire the Ceylon set in 18 carat textured gold with a diamond in white gold.
Both are captivating pieces .
Although the sapphire refers to the blue variety of corundum, this birthstone comes in a rainbow of other colours ( ruby is the red variety).

September brings the birthstone of sapphire.
This is my large stunning star sapphire ( the second photo shows the star )which I have designed so that the wavy claws align with the rays of the star. They are set with alternate sapphires and diamonds in 18 carat yellow and white gold.
It is a very special piece.
I will be showing this at the Goldsmiths’ Fair at the end of the month.

Although the JLG studio has been on summer holidays this week it has not stopped online orders.
These stunning sapphire and diamond earrings were one that went off to their new home.
I have enjoyed some downtime, time to reflect before the very busy period preparing for the Goldsmiths Fair in a month’s time.

Shades of green.
Three new rings -one emerald cabochon, one large peridot with ridged shank and emerald and diamond.
I will be showing these at next month’s Goldsmiths’ Fair where I am much looking forward to exhibiting in week two.

I love the combination of natural 18 carat yellow gold and the lime green colour of Peridot.

I have been making a lot of new peridot pieces which is the birthstone for August.
This large cushion shaped stone will be set in a rubover setting with a ridged shank, all in 18 carat yellow gold. I love the mix of the yellow gold and lime green .
