Every shade of brown deserves to be admired.

I have always been admired for my brown skin - smooth, clean, and rich.

But the more I create, the more I’m reminded that every shade in our culture carries its own beauty. From our skin tones to our hair, our features, our textures, and the way we show up - there is so much uniqueness to celebrate.

When my customer reached out wanting n**e tones, I was excited to make something soft, elegant, and different. But as I started choosing the beads, I saw more than just colours.

I saw depth.
I saw warmth.
I saw heritage.
I saw resilience.
I saw us.

This Heleecus bag, made with different shades of brown and black, became a way to capture the richness of our culture - the beauty in our shades, the strength in our features, and the creativity that runs through everything we touch.
