Back at the bench and feeling hopeful for 2026 🤍

Gold seems to be continuing its golden era, and a handful of these pieces are still available on the website at their old prices ( the crosses, nugget and wishbone necklace). They’ll change when they’re made again — but that’s a story for later!

I’m finishing up a number of bespoke pieces this week, each with its own story, and I’ll be sharing them here very soon ✨
Last year was filled with deeply personal commissions, all carrying different meanings, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what we’ll co-create together in 2026.

Some of the pieces I have worked on this year that have reminded me why I love doing what I do. There is so much meaning, memory and emotion captured in these small details. Blue is the colour I come back to over and over again. From the palest aquamarines to the deepest, velvety blue sapphires. It feels infinite and spiritual and carries with it a deep sense of calm, almost meditative in its effect on the soul.
Many artists have had Blue as their muse! The art here is Picasso’s self portrait during his blue period and Starry Night by Van Gogh and a beautiful blue flower - unfortunately I don’t know who it’s by! Let me know if you do 💙

I have been thinking a lot about why I am drawn back to the same themes in my designs time and time again; Love and Peace, British and American Hippydom and Counterculture and how it must have had something to do with growing up close to one of Europe’s longest-running women-led peace movements! I’ve written a blog post on the website about how the Greenham Common Peace Women shaped my understanding of counterculture and seeped into my consciousness.
