Every bespoke piece begins on paper (or iPad) ✨

After our initial conversation, I translate ideas, stories and inspiration into a series of hand-drawn sketches. This stage is where possibilities are explored—playing with proportions, gemstones, antique elements and decorative details until the design feels just right.

These drawings become the blueprint for the finished piece, capturing every detail before it moves into the workshop 💍

One of my favourite parts of the process: watching an idea evolve into something tangible, one sketch at a time. ✨

A ring made in memory, and made with love. 💚

This bespoke toi et moi ring pairs a diamond with an emerald — two stones forever side by side, representing a bond that continues beyond a lifetime.

The emerald was chosen for B. Not only because emerald was his name, but because it reflects the beauty, warmth, and vibrant spirit he brought to those around him. The diamond stands as a symbol of enduring love, strength, and remembrance.

Our Summer Open Studios are just around the corner….☀️

I am navigating working on my creative practice as well as working on being a mum for the first time, but I’m really excited to be opening the doors to the studio for our bi-annual open studio event.

This event will mark my coming back to work at the studios part time, I have just a few new pieces to show as well as some gorgeous pieces from my current collections. But fear not! I have been brewing up lots of exciting new ideas and I am really looking forward to bringing them to life this year. For now, I will be thrilled to just show you the jewels, have a chat and get back to normality! 🎉

For two weekends only, step inside Cockpit Studios and meet the makers behind the work. This twice-yearly event is the only time the studios are open to the public, offering a rare opportunity to visit the studios, take a peek behind the scenes, and see how craft is made up close. This edition is extra special, as Cockpit celebrates its 40th anniversary with a VIP party and an auction of 40 objects made at the studios.

I was so delighted to be able to take part in exhibition for this year 👩‍🎨 12 weeks post partum and not sure if I could remember how to smile but we move!

The series ‘The Cockpit Effect: 40 Years of Craft Excellence’ in collaboration with (who is just excellent) will be open to the public on 12th May at Cockpit Bloomsbury. This special exhibition brings together photography, video & craft objects in a powerful showcase of the makers behind the craft magic that comes to life at Cockpit ✨

For the Love Ring Exhibition starting today — a capsule in colour, courage, and connection. ✨

This year has me thinking about how loudly we choose to love. In a world that can feel heavy, uncertain, and at times divided, maybe the most radical thing we can do is be unapologetically bold with it. 💚

Inspired by this year’s Pantone colour and everything unfolding around us, these rings are my answer: more colour, more feeling, more expression. Pieces that don’t whisper, but speak — of joy, of tenderness, of defiance, of love in all its forms. 🧡

Because love shouldn’t be subtle. It should be seen, felt, worn. 💕

Today feels extra special — my first Mother’s Day as a mum, and the day I turn 36.✨

Becoming a mother has made me reflect even more on the life I’m building and the path that made it possible. I feel incredibly lucky to earn a living doing something I truly love, running my little business as a one-woman band and doing things in a way that feels authentic to me. I know that kind of independence didn’t appear out of nowhere — I’m standing on the shoulders of so many remarkable women who fought for the freedoms that make my way of life possible.

At the same time, it’s hard not to feel that there is still so far to go. In many ways it feels like we’re slipping backwards into a world where women are given fewer freedoms and seen as lesser rather than equal. It makes me think even more deeply about the future.

Now, as the mother of a son, I’m so aware of the responsibility and the opportunity that comes with helping shape the next generation. Raising him to treat everyone with fairness, respect, and equality feels more important than ever.

Feeling grateful today — for the wonderful mother that made me, for the life I get to live, and for the little person who made me a mother. 💫
