Work in progress - hand tooled gold - a mix of stud and drop earrings that irresistibly catch the light.

Lines playfully criss cross and tumble down the length of the earring. Each pair has its own unique pattern.

When an order leaves the studio, you never know how it will land and comments like these are precious.

This unusual grouping of tear drop pearls was inspired by the arrangement of electron orbitals (a nod to distant days studying chemistry) - hence their name!

Final checks being done on a necklace before returning it to Dame Prue Leith It’s been lovely being reunited with this one-off piece after a few years.

This statement leather piece was inspired by the light sculpture ‘Neon Tower’ by Philip Vaughan that used to sit on top of the Hayward Gallery - a wonderful Waterloo Bridge landmark.

Though usually camera shy… a big thank you to for these lovely portraits. A privilege to watch a master craftsman at work behind the camera.

Taken to mark 40 years anniversary, these photos form part of a group of portraits of 40 makers.

During London Craft Week Cockpit Studios are presenting their first multimedia exhibition featuring these portraits, plus video and a showcase of pieces crafted by Cockpit makers.

Visitors can explore the exhibition on Tuesday 12 May, 12-6pm.
