This evening Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council awards will be meeting all the makers and designers at this prestigious event. Calling on the winners to collect their awards and share an evening of mixing it all up with the most wonderful friends and supporters of the industry.

The A U D A C I T Y earrings are part of our collection of fine jewellery. I wanted to create a piece that captures what I love about jewellery. The unexpected elegance when faced with challenging materials and reimagining how a stone can be set. The quartz is captured in a rose gold mount that is laser welded together at the back. Very exciting to share the multicoloured tourmaline ring in 18ct yellow gold. A wonderful client with a very open mind, but a clear focus to allow us to create something striking and powerful. Colour was the key inspiration for this ring.
The tourmaline was the choice of coloured gem. Each stone was cut individually to create the stepped design.
The low profile makes it super comfortable to wear.

A classic rope ring. Made with care to taper the diamonds as they curve around the profile of the rope. So they go from 1.5 to 0.9mm and set in platinum. All the details add value and quality to what first looks like a simple ring.

A beautiful intaglio was inspiration to create this pendant for a treasured customer. They had a strong aesthetic and clear idea of the styling of this. So we sketched out the basics and created this lovely pendant in solid 9ct yellow gold , chalcedony, pave set cognac diamonds and enamel.

This had to be made very carefully, not only to a high standard of course, but to respect all the techniques used and materials. Plus this is a beloved carving of a loved cat. As a cat lover I get it!!!!

The marquise cut diamond was the starting point for this beautiful engagement ring. We met the wonderful customers in our store on Broadway Market. Went through the diamond cuts, and this one seemed ideal. We then sketched and created the idea of the ripples emanating from the shape of the diamond.

Subverting the norm and challenging ideas of jewellery is refreshing. This platinum and diamond ring was made on purpose to be an escape. We reverse set the diamonds on the inside of the ring, and tilted the inner angle back, so they do not actually touch the skin. It’s a trick of the eye… made by
