Sexy close-ups
This will sound cryptic, but I may or may not have put these- you know where 😊 *writing the "s" word that rhymes with hops in the caption will cover my post with an invisibility cloak for 3 to 5 business days, apparently 🫠🫠🫠

Yesterday's best highlights:
🟠 Warm, breezy, sunny day
🟑 The loveliest people who stopped by my table to say words of encouragement, make a purchase or to say hi, I was so happy to see you all πŸ₯° *una foxita happita
I also had fab stall neighbours, and Catherine and Sinead from Crafty Fox Market | Est. 2010 did their absolute best to organise this event, the most amazing team ever 🌟
🟒 One lady brought her cat with her, and this made my day even more special *cat tax in photos
πŸ”΅ I have seen one of my favourite places to trade again, somehow, the raw, brutalist architecture makes me excited. Also, the area around it is so full of life, I love it πŸ’•
🟣 Overall, the whole day went as smoothly as possible, which was a great relief for myΒ anxiety πŸ™ƒ

Are these ammonites, unopened ferns or the Fibonacci sequence in nature?
I'll have these with me on the 19th and will be able to list them online after that πŸ’•

My only market for this summer is on the 19th, and I'll have these new earrings with me, as well as many other ones I'm currently working on. I will only be able to list all of them online after the market, as my creative process is in full flow right now, and I don't want to interfere with admin work. I'm posting their photo as a little tease because they're so beautiful πŸ₯°
If you'll be in London at that time, please give us a visit, as the selection of makers is absolutely gorgeous, like always (see the info in the second photo) πŸ’•

Sometimes, small is the answer, especially during a heatwave that makes us irritated with E.V.R.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G that touches our skin too much, or is it just me? 🫠🫠🫠

I had a custom order of these jellyfish resin earrings and wanted to share a few steps from the work process with you. Forgot to film the front part sorries πŸ™ƒ

🌟 Experiments 🌟
Coming from a chemical technology background, the lab was where I was at my most excited state of mind. Even now, after more than a decade since I finished uni, I get happy when I see a movie scene happening in a science workroom or even if it's forensic ☺️
So, naturally, I love building a new design of earrings because it puts me through several stages of trial and error. It's not unusual for an idea to become totally unusable or more difficult to bring to life, even though it seemed easy peasy in my head. However, I'm thrilled about this part of the process. It's where the juice is. It's where I need to untangle the knots metaphorically speaking. It's where I discover new ways and what could work better than my original thought. I live for this part of the process because after this it becomes an automatic task of finishing, taking pictures, editing, and adding the listing to the shops, which is less exciting to be honest. But it's still part of the whole thing.
I also accepted the fact that sometimes, after a long few days or even weeks of experimenting, the idea I had needs to be left in the air for a while, or to marinate in its own juice πŸ˜† Or maybe put aside for years until it's mature enough to be put together. And that's okay because this is what creative work implies πŸ’•
If you're still reading, you're a cutie patootie πŸ€— In the pictures you've seen that I first played with paper I coloured with watercolours, then I picked which colours went well together and finally went to have fun making bargello waves. Let's see if I'll be able to make new cute earrings through zig-zaging πŸ€“
Ta taaa for now xx

I made them in three sizes, and I can barely resist the temptation to keep the large ones to myself hehe 🫠🫠

I made a custom order for Annette with a tortoise shell effect to match her new eyeglasses. Working with translucent colours can be challenging at times but I think they turned out so cute and elegant 😍 And most importantly, Annette is happy 😊πŸ₯°
