How to personalise a jewel 💍

Many of my customers find a piece they love, but want to make a few changes to make it more personal to them. It could be as simple as changing the colour of a gemstone or choosing a different precious metal, or something more meaningful, such as incorporating inherited gold or reusing heirloom diamonds.

This ring has been one of my favourite commissions to date. 🤍

T came to me wanting to create the perfect engagement ring for his partner, E. He knew she wanted a statement ring centred around a significant natural diamond, with a soft, romantic aesthetic.

Together, we explored different diamond cuts before finding the shape that perfectly suited E’s style. His final choice was this breathtaking 1.51ct D-colour natural pear-shaped diamond, which became the inspiration for the entire design.

The centre stone is framed by delicate pear and marquise diamonds, creating floral shoulders, while a beautifully crafted petal gallery sits beneath the setting. Hidden inside the band are two secret spinels, representing the couple’s birthstones.

T proposed in July, and E said yes! Huge congratulations to such a lovely couple! It was such a privilege to create this special ring to mark their next chapter.

This bespoke commission was such a special one. 🤍

A lovely customer came to me with the most beautiful opal she’d purchased during a trip to Australia and wanted it transformed into a pendant as a birthday gift for her daughter.

Knowing her daughter loves wearing chunky gold chains, we designed the pendant with an oversized bail so it could be worn on different necklaces from her collection.

We kept the design chic and understated, allowing the opal to take centre stage while adding a hidden detail to make it even more meaningful. On the reverse sits a frosted gold flower, set with an alexandrite at its centre – her daughter’s June birthstone.

The finished pendant can be worn on either side, making it easy to style in different ways.

I’m so happy to have a selection of rings, necklaces and earrings from my Bloom collection at Dover Street Market London until 3rd August.

Bloom celebrates colour through spinels in shades of pink, lilac and orange, alongside rubies and pink tourmalines, all paired with champagne and white diamonds. Each piece features my signature scalloped petal setting, accented by tactile twisted textures in gold.

It was such a pleasure to attend the opening of the Jewellery Market Summer Exhibition 2026 at Dover Street Market last night.

Having my work stocked at DSM feels like a dream come true, and I’m so excited to be exhibiting alongside so many talented emerging jewellery designers from around the world.

The evening was full of energy and wonderful conversations, and made even more memorable by a thoughtful gift from the Dover Street Market team - an original artwork by inspired by my work.

A heartfelt thank you to DOVER STREET MARKET for creating such an inspiring exhibition, and to The Goldsmiths' Centre for their continued support.
